Dew, a Navy wife and native of Baltimore, Maryland, has always had a love for the arts, especially for writing. She views writing as a form of therapy to free our hearts and minds of the emotions that daily life forces us to bury deep within. Having graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, she plans to further her education in English, Business, Teaching, and Spanish with the hopes of opening an artists’ studio for young writers/performers. Though she's been seriously writing since the age of 9, it was at Poly that she first became a part of Spoken Word and adopted her writer’s name, an acronym of one of her husband’s nicknames for her. She has received many recognitions and awards for her original pieces, theatrical performance, and oratory. "Vanity: a collection of thoughts and emotions in poetic form" is her first published work and will not be her last.Along with poetry, Ccep also writes songs, plays, and is focusing on her first complete novel. Aside from writing, she also paints, dances, sings, draws, acts, and dabbles in any aspect of the arts that you can think of.Ccep is currently the Chief Operating Office (COO) of Ravolution Multimedia, LLC as well as the West Coast Editor and Arts Director for eXcape the matriX magazine. She hopes to take over the world one article at a time.
