About Me
I have been playing instruments for over 20 years. Been around the world in the name of music. I am currently the guitarist for Carl Thomas, Fertile Ground, Producer of Trife Wound, J Soul, Olu Butterfly, and the musical director of a number of bands. Currently the musical director at Organic Soul Tuesdays which is a weekly open mic series in Baltimore that has been running for 5 years. Skilled in all styles of music such as hip hop, jazz, r&b, blues, gospel, funk, fusion and everything else. Bachelor of Arts in Music from Morgan State University, trained piano under Dr. Billy Taylor, theory with Yusef Lateef, Toured with Keith Sweat, Fertile Ground. Shared the stage with artisits such as The Gap Band, Gerald Levert, Common, Eryka Badu, Chuck Brown, India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, The Time, Anthony Hamilton, Mos Def, Kindred, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Freddie Jackson, Mechelle N'degeocello, Rachelle Ferrell, Bilal, Julie Dexter, Johnny Kemp, Maysa Leak & Incognito etc. I've performed in almost every major city in the United States playing at venues such as, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, BET Live, House of Blues, Appolo Theatre, Carnigie Hall, The Donnie Simpson Morning Show. Worldwide, Ive performed in most of western Europe (UK, France, Italy, Belguim, Sweden, Holland, Slovokia, Croatia, Austria), Japan, and Canada. I mainly produce hip hop, r&b, jazz and funk.
