Elliott Miller A.K.A Born unto Christ (BUC) and Paul Pinnock A.K.A Preecher Paul make up hip-hop's newest sensation "Buc & the Preecher". The two were destined to meet as they both rose to legendary status in Brooklyn's underground rap scene in the early 80's. Elliott then known as "Elliott Ness" and D.J. "Professor Paul" were two of the best MC''s and DJ's Brooklyn had to offer. They're professional careers began when the two along with Greg "Mr. Speed" Brown formed the group E.S.P. The trio recorded in the late 80's and early 90's for Select Records, which was distributed by WEA. Though health issues with Speed and Elliott forced the band to dismantle in 91' the group managed to spawn two underground classics. "Wild Thing" (which reached the top five in world wide rap charts) and "Back Rappin" a mesmeric "twelve inch" that boggles the senses, and reveals the scope of Elliott's creative genius. This evidence was displayed in the last verse when he drops a 16 bar rhyme then repeats it word for word...in reverse. While Elliott recouped from brain surgery he and Paul further expanded their talents in production, song writing and musicianship, as Elliott taught himself the art of playing the piano. He then founded a production company "Cant Miss Productions" and has written and produced for artist such as: The Real Roxanne, Glamorous, Chubb Rock and KO calab. It was also during these times when the two would be introduced to Christ and accept him as their personal savior. Now in a healthier physical state and sensing a void in music, the two have decided to join forces again as "Buc & the Preecher" and reinstate their positions as pioneers in the world of music. The duo's infectious sound is dubbed "righteous soul" which is a venturesome undertaking of soul, funk and spirituality. An EP is slated to be released early 2008 independently. They're also busy writing and producing R&B and House Music for artist signed to Soulualism Records. Passionate about music and life this team has a lot to offer the world, luckily for all of us they're not selfish. ..
