BIO
buzz writes: holla gents and dames, i'm writing a lil' something about a friend and that i knew long time ago. he was born in the chaotic, not trustable, smokin' hell city of milano, italy, europe, bigflyin'shit in your chardonnay, in one of the most unfavourite years of my life, the nasty '81. i'll tell you why i'm sayin'so: i was in memphis back in those days, making a research about an old bluesman living-dead. i finally found him, thanx a friendly buddy, and the damned blues-blessed ran into his house, took his two-mouthed shotgun and started to shoot all around me. thank jeez he was so old and blind or i'll be under three meters of fresh earth, no flowers in my fish-bowl. when police finally got to calm him down he said 'damn i thought he was muddy..got an old thing to set up with him..". hey, crunked old junk, did nobody told you mr waters' a blackman? sure i am not right now. anyway, what the hell i was talkin' about? of course i was tryin' to make a bio of a friend! i'll make a resume of his features: he's a black man in the second part of his twenties. he's in love with music, hell yeah, always kissin' her. he brings ms musik to the restaurant and to the movies, he makes sex with the most beautiful black haired melody. when i knew him he was just a child. no parents, no love, only tons of shit. can easily understand why the guy's so close to notes, lyrics, and music instruments: they are family, the only things he loved and hugged in his first years. he's soulman, makin' and playin' his own music, writin' it down with tears, blood, love pain and happyness alltogetha. as a kid he made lot of shows in europe while he was on the run, but not a single tape. when i asked the reason he said: soulmusic is almighty, i still ain't got the necessary means and strenght to bind it in a record session; days after we met and he said he was givin' up jazz and soul -i'll take a pause, he said- for something very nu in italy: rap beats. he was young with a soul education, nice vocalist.. it seemed like a backstep to me. but oneday i was in genoa and i went to see my man in a local club with his nu-atthattime- band named madameyoyo. after the concert i was deeply impressed..such a fresh and unique sound, such an energy...they were mixin' rap-reggae-drum&bass-elettronics-jungle-dancehall-spanis
hjoints and soul in a genial way. i understood albert's path was not an obvious one, his charisma and vocal power were endured by experience. now, years later, albert is a mature singer and composer. he has played and recorded many tracks, produced different hip hop and r&b singers, wrote the soundtrack of a shortmovie and documentaries, played live with tons of musicians, includin' the italian trumpet 'enrico rava', the reggae gifted 'ras ites' and his friend and amazin' drummer 'matteo mammoliti'. he's latest projects are the kalibreeze, a new mix of sound experiences startin' from reggae, and la banda di piazza caricamento, a multi-talented multi-ethnic band with members from five continents that is making lot of concerts around italy and europe. they have produced 'babel sound' , now in store. he's involved in the rebel bit project too, with the electroproducer 'massimo tarozzi': you can find 'overdub session' in stores. he used different a.k.as for many cooperation. now, for the first time, his space and tru name.
