About Me

Film watching, making, commenting, feeling. Nocturnal, elixir, Fire, feminine, transcendent, alchemist, healing, aware, sensual, passionate, intuitive.FAVORITE scenes of all time:Bleek asking Indigo to "save him" when he realizes finally that his career as a jazz trumpeter is suffering without the intimacy of love's presence -Lalit answering Ria when she reveals the sexual abuse she endured as a child - what a REAL man, good God -Dolorous (Juliette Binoche) and Benoit Regent's character's attempt to complete her late husband's unfinished concerto. Sensual, the way cinematographer Slawomir Idziak scales the camera across sheet music, relishing the notes, and stoping at composer Zbigniew Preisner's rhapsody where Regent's gliding finger brings the movement to a halt...ASTONISHING to say the VERY least.-Film Sources: Spike Lee's Mo' Better Blues 'cause it's Mo' Betta, Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding, and Krzysztof Kieslowski's Blue. Delicious film making.
