About Me

The Generous Community serves local non-profits with the necessary information, tools, resources, strategic partnerships and support to be successful with their mission and philanthropic efforts.The “core staff” of the Generous Community partners with non-profits, by: 1) Assessing the primary issues and unmet goals 2)Providing solutions such as Coaching, Fundraising, Communication, Resource Allocation and Networking, 3) Connecting and encouraging partnerships between our non-profits and Generous Community members who have similar interest and 4) Managing three fundraisers that allow schools and non-profits to keep 100% of all monies collected.

My Interests

To Build COMMUNITY. To do my part in a collaborative effort to make a positive impact. To equip nonprofits with advocacy, systems, and strategies that alow them to operate with maximum effectiveness

Music:

Building Hope Project "Building Hope" Project- In July 2008 we will offer a life changing home construction project for an identified needy family in Durham NC. The project includes medical assistance and the establishment of a new business to sustain the family’s needs.

Movies:

Kids Exchange Kids Exchange- Since 1997 it is estimated that Kids Exchange event has supplied over $5M in clothing, baby equipment and supplies, maternity supplies, and financial gifts to thousands of underprivileged mothers, expecting, mothers, children, and churches and organizations that serve the aforesaid. The Kids Exchange is a compilation of approximately 4,000 families and their gently used baby, children, and maternity items, more than 300 volunteers, and almost 100 paid personnel each show (every January and July). www.KidsExchange.net

Television:

Generosity Awards Generosity Awards- A televised and highly publicized ceremony will take place at Meymandi Concert Hall, Raleigh NC on November 15, 2008; recognizing North Carolina’s most generous leaders who are proactively giving back to the community through their talent, passion, commitment, work ethic, and integrity. Promotion and voting will be statewide. Awards will be presented by celebrities, and popular personalities.Coming to your State SOON!

Books:

Nonprofit Conference The Carolina Non-profit Conference will bring together local and National nonprofits (in need of partnerships,education, resources, and finances), with philanthropists, government, education, business, and community leaders and provide them with a two day educational boot camp on “Best Practices” and “Solutions Management”. The conference is planned for November 14 and 15.
