McCHDO is a small community - based nonprofit organization that creates lifetime housing solutions to help Appalachian families break the cycle of poverty. Our Building Standards are energy efficient, ecologically friendly & Building Code Compliant. We are building high quality homes for our families futures. Homes that are ready to house generation after generation. This will create long standing neighborhoods & tomorrow's historical homes. As a result of meeting these high standards McCHDO can confidently say we are Building Miracles One House at at Time!..

Other agenices or individuals that are interested in making a difference in their communities. We have found that if you work hard enough you can find there is people out there that care as much if not more about their communities and are willing to help. Either by volunteering their time or making donations.
