A History of Dallas Music

I am here for Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

This page is dedicated to everyone who has ever been connected to the North Texas Music community. This includes musicians, graphic artists, DJs, writers, photographers, fans and service industry folks from Fort Worth, Denton and the surrounding North Texas area. After living in Los Angeles, it came to my attention that people there had no idea that the majority of our artists are actually from the North Texas area. I figured this would be a good way to reclaim a bit of our identity. A few of these artists either broke up or left town years ago, but I wanted to include them nonetheless. I believe that our collective historic experience is every bit as important as whatever happens in the future. I look forward to you sharing all of your personal memories on this page. Here's to finally owning up to who we really are. - LilesDALLAS DJs/VJs, WRITERS and TASTEMAKERS PAST AND PRESENT: Action Jaxson (The Beat), Alex Luke (KDGE), A-One (Slip Inn), Ari Asch (KNON), Ayo (The Edge), DJ Baby G (KNON), Bart Weiss (Video Bar), Bosco (KNON), Brett Dillon (The Range), DJ Burlap (Double Wide), Cabe Booth (KNON), Cat Simon (KVIL), Charlie Jones (KZEW), Charlie "Don't" Park (KNON), Chris Douridas (KERA), Chris Ryan (KEGL), Cindy Chaffin (FineLineLive.com), Cindy Scull (Z-Rock), Craig "Niteman" Taylor (KNON), Cynthia Rose (Dallas Morning News), Danny Hollenbeck (KNON), Darren Ryan (KNON), Dave Chaos (KNON), Debbie Sexxton (KEGL), DeMarkus Lewis, Dennis Gonzalez (KERA), DJ Easy Eddie D (KNON/Clearview), Ed Budinero (KJAZ), Eric Schwartz (KNON), DJ Frantic (Clever Monkeys), DJ Chicken George (Lee Harvey's/Inwood Lounge), George Gimarc (KZEW), Go-Go Mike (Starck Club), Hawkeye, Headkrack (The Beat), Holly Jefferson, Hunter Hauk (Dallas Morning News), Jeff K (KDGE), Jeff Liles (KNON/Slip Inn), Jeff Wade (Hydroponic Sound System/The Ticket), Jeff Webb (KNON), Joe (Fallout Lounge), John Rody (KZEW), John Peel (KLIF), John Wells (KZEW), Jon Dillon (KZEW), Josh Venable ("The Adventure Club"), DJ Kelly Reverb (Zubar), Keynote (The Beat), Lex and Terry, Liza Richardson (KERA/KNON), Malcom Mayhew (Fort Worth Star Telegram), Mary Alice (KZEW/KEGL), Mad Max Hammer (Z-Rock), MC 900 Ft Jesus (Lee Harvey's/Inwood Lounge), DJ Merritt (Lizard Lounge/KDGE), Millie Jackson (KKDA), DJ Mr. Rid (Meridan Room/Expo), Nancy "Shaggy" Moore (KNON), Pamela Steele (KZPS), Paul Slavens (KERA), Phooka (Slip Inn), Redbeard (Q102), DJ Red Eye (Club One), Rick Squillante (Starck Club), Robert Miguel (The Bone), Robert Wilonsky (Dallas Observer/Times Herald), DJ Rob Spray (KNON), Ron Chapman (KVIL), Russ Martin (CBS Radio), Scott Beggs (Gypsy Tea Room, Trees), DJ Sista Whitenoise (Lee Harvey's), Tempie Lindsey (Q102/KZEW), Teresa Gubbins (Dallas Morning News and Pegasus News), Terry Sims (Slip Inn), Tom Joyner (KKDA), Tony Fair (Inwood Lounge), Video Bah TV, DJ Virus (KNON/The Church), Wanz Dover (Laptop Deathmatch/Fallout Lounge), Wild Bill (Z-Rock), Zac Crain (Dallas Observer/D), DJ Zero (MC 900 Ft Jesus/Vanilla Ice)Profile edited with CricketSoda's Myspace Editor
