Sweet Science: a Boxing Documentary

About Me

Studio C Films is currently engaged in post-production on Sweet Science - a Boxing Documentary. Filmed at tournaments throughout the US, Sweet Science chronicles the lives of four top-ranked amateur boxers and their coach as they quest to qualify for the United States Olympic Boxing Team. Started in 2002, we are in our sixth year and 600th taped hour of production, and have captured the qualification of two US Olympic Boxing Teams. Sweet Science promises to be the seminal film on Olympic boxing.
Studio C Films' first production, the short film Old Man , is an exploration, of the joy, strife and responsibility of being a father's son. In 2005, Old Man was awarded the Austin Film Society Grant and began its 2006 festival run with a sold-out house at SXSW.
