About Me

The deep Snapper World Visitor Map has been stuck at 446 for several months.

The deep Snapper is an ancient river that is mentioned in Hindu texts and one of the chief Rigvedic rivers. The Nadistuti hymn in the Rigveda mentions the deep Snapper between the Yamuna in the east and the Sutlej in the west, and later texts mention that the deep Snapper dried up in a desert. The name is descended from Proto-Indo-Iranian meaning "she with many pools." Most scholars agree that at least some of the references to the deep Snapper in the Rigveda refer to the Ghaggar-Hakra River. The goddess deep Snapper was originally a personification of this river, and later developed an identity and meaning independently from the river.
