Get Your Own! | View Slideshow This may take a while but here it goes. I live across the street from Fair Park in a loft. So going to the fair was just something I would do instead of watching TV. So a couple years ago I thought I would see how many times I could go. I only missed two days and that was because I was at the ACL fest. So in the last 5 years I have been to the fair almost 100 times. I see the same people year after year. To think about the time I have visited Fair Park and the fair isn't even going. When we ride bikes, throw the ball, etc it is at Fair Park. That is my jogging area, I am a member of most the museums, I do so much there it is my backyard. Well my friends at work started calling me Big Tex when the fair was starting and as opening day came I had a corndog, black eyed peas , and a cold Shiner. I was waiting on a couple friends and was looking at the t shirts and there he was:Bobble Head Big Tex! So I bought him and well the rest is well documented. Jay
