I'm interested in everything...lol... but more specifically... I enjoy doing beadwork and generally making stuff with my hands. Love to read and watch movies (at home... I'm kinda anti-social but in a very friendly way)... if you haven't figured it out yet, my big passion is music. I believe in being of service... I am a participant in the Transform Columbus Day activities (there's nothing like being hand-cuffed to your best friend to make you really dig your heels in about an issue) and volunteer with the Native Inmates group at our local Fed. prison. Was at one time an ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) foster mom and create a lot of flyers to help promote local NDN organizations. Even tho I am mixed blood Anishinaabe, I go to Lakota sweats (cuz there just aren't too many Naabe's around these parts) and am hunka'd into a Lakota family from Pine Ridge. "If you don't like the way I pray, you can kiss my sweetgrass!"
I love to connect with NDN musicians and give them encouragement and a little leg up with some national air time!
I use myspace mostly to network with musicians, artists and political renegades ... but hey... it's all the same thing really.------------------------
I would have really liked to shake Peter LaFarge's hand ...

News freak (I apparently enjoy being lied to on a regular basis...lol) and here are further television confessions: Oprah, Heroes, Ugly Betty, The Office and Sunday Morning. I would like to slap the face of the guy who cancelled Northern Exposure.
Anything written by Sherman Alexie, Vine Deloria, Thomas King, Louise Erdrich or Harlan Ellison ... but then, I'll read anything not nailed down including cereal boxes, match book covers and toilet paper notes.
