The more unintelligent a man is, the less mysterious existence seems to him.

About Me

What I do for a living: I'm a software architect and engineer (yes, really, both). During my working hours, I'm busy designing, building, and deploying enterprise software solutions mostly for the entertainment industry. Yeah, it sounds nerdy and boring, but it's really fun--I get to build things (software) that people use every day! My primary programming language is C#. I have over ten years of experience developing enterprise and personal software solutions and systems. From building simple script-driven web pages, database-driven, dynamic websites, to multi-tiered enterprise systems, I've been developing software using languages and solutions such as Visual Basic, C++, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, .Net, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server. I'm currently a Microsoft MVP nominee. If you ever need help developing 1) desktop applications and/or 2) web sites, don't hesitate to ask.

I love my family very much, and I would kill myself before letting anything happen to them! While I'm not working or at it with my hobby, I'm enjoying my time with my wife and children!

What I do in my spare time: I'm busy studying, researching, and investigating claims, research, and investigations of the paranormal. I'm a paranormal investigator & researcher with the Los Angeles Paranormal Research Group (LAPRG) . My favorite paranormal interests include the afterlife and ESP. Being an open-minded skeptic, as well as an open-minded believer, I don't readily believe claims of paranormal phenomena. My scientific, evidentiary approach to researching paranormal phenomena is what gives me the sound conclusions and assumptions I effortfully seek.

I'd like to meet:

Do you want to be my friend? I won't accept you as a friend if I don't think we have at least something in which we're mutually interested. All my friends are so because I've found something interesting in them. Also, I actually visit my friend's spaces--I don't just add/approve them and never visit and/or interact with them in some way. I don't just add friends to procure a high count. I generally accept friend requests from those who 1) live in Los Angeles, 2) are interested in the paranormal, 3) are into software architecture and/or engineering, and/or 4) have something in which I find very interesting.

I'm a "Visual Mathematician" : According to several IQ tests I've taken, I'm a "Visual Mathematician" . That means I'm very good with visually figuring things out. I have this uncanny ability to recognize people's faces and just about never forget them. There will be times when I'm watching a movie in which I'll get a quick, side-view glimpse of an actor or actress and am able to instantly say who he or she is. It's very weird! I saw a person in the parking lot of a Barnes & Noble book store the other day whom I hadn't seen in over ten years and instantly recognized who he was, and I didn't even know him that well back then--he attended the same class I did, but we didn't associate with each other. There is something about faces that makes me memorize them. For what could this ability be used? Who knows? I'm a programmer!

If you are on my top friends list, it's probably because 1) I know you personally, 2) you've done or said something that really interests and/or impresses me, and/or 3) you've been feeling down lately, and by my placing you there, you may cheer up (hopefully)!

I believe that most people are well-intentioned and honest! People who are also interested in paranormal research and investigation and/or software architecture, engineering, and implementation are those whom I'd like to meet. The following are just some of those who meet that criteria (thanks for being my friends):
