I am one hell of a talker, actress, laugher, and love creativity. I love to do weird things like take salt shakers from resturants. Hey! Don't knock it! I paid an arm and a leg for that meal, so that means that it will not hurt them to loose a salt shaker or two. I learned that from my mother.
For some people, its hard for them to look in the mirror & honestly like who they are. I do NOT have that problem. I did not really open up until college, but hey...better late than never. And I opened up even more when I got out of school...so I guess the qualifies me as "an open book" type of person. I love who I am & I have no problem showing my true colors and being myself. Sure, there are times when I do something I'm not happy about or I may have moments when I wish I could change something about myself because something happend that brought to my attention that I may not be as cool as I think I am (how is THAT for a run-on sentence?). But for the most part, I think I am a pretty cool person to know. I am interested in such a large spectrum of things that I get along with all types simply because I am so open & love all sorts of activities & tastes.
I suppose that is one reason people have a hard time figuring me out. One day I'm feeling dark & I may look goth. The next day I am Miss Mary Sunshine & wearing pink. I guess I do not have a set style. I am a broad range of characters, I suppose. Most people are one or the other. They have a style they like. Not me. I like it all...Goth, nerdy, popular, sexy, punk, wild, dark, gay, straight, bi, cheery, goofy, or simple. Despite what you may be thinking... I do NOT have multiple personalities! LOL However...it might be easier if I did...at least that way I would have an excuse for why I have such different tastes and moods all the time. All I can say is this: enjoy the ride.
I like to be goofy, I love to laugh (at myself and others), I do not scare easily, I am street smart but not booksmart, I love to have adventures and try things at least once, I have not "settled down" yet (I have too many adventures to have yet) & I tend to be a smart ass. Couldn't you tell?!
I work with costumes and recently there has been an interesting development. The owners have owned the costume place for 25 years and have decided that they are ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives. So they have offered the company to me and another woman that I work with! How exciting! It will be a lot of work, learning, and dedication, but it will totally be worth it! I cannot wait to start this new chapter in my life! Wish me luck, cross your fingers for me, and send positive thoughts and prayers my way! Thank you!
