About Me

CAVEAT: IF YOU ARE EVANGELIZING WITH A RELIGIOUS POSITION; THIS IS NOT THE PAGE FOR YOU. THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION AND THE BIG BANG THEORY ARE ACCEPTED BY THE MAJORITY OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY. THIS PAGE IS CONSISTENT WITH THAT. THE SINGLENESS OF PURPOSE IS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SCIENCE IS, HOW IT WORKS AND HOW IT IS APPLIED TO THE PLETHORA OF SCIENTIFIC TOPICS. That being said...This page is dedicated to the education of the general public in what science is.So much is 'pawned off' as science in human society. The aim of this page to make it clear what science IS and ISN'T. The articles, blogs and bulletins will CONSISTENTLY reflect that sole purpose. IF YOUR COMMENTS DO NOT REFLECT THIS PURPOSE, I WILL CONSISTENTLY CRITIQUE OR DELETE THOSE COMMENTS.This page is meant for intellectual development, understanding scientific thinking, topics of interest by accepted science (both basic and applied). And most important? Eager, passionate, and fun interactions with the subject of science and math. This page is also a conduit for science/math education. It will bulletins, blogs and emails about link, articles and websites that are on the web for the continued growth and development of scientific fields and the unique thinking that comprises the subject of science.I also have a personal page: "Darwin's New Bulldog"But it deals with every aspect of my life. And I have some science 'stuff' on my page. I am studying to be a math teacher and will resume my studies in Fall of 2008 at the University of Cincinnati as a mathematics major.So...I take SOLE responsibility for any errata that I submit to the page.But...this page is centered on the sciences: essays and blogs that are germaine.

My Interests

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Nutrition/Health Sciences, History and Philosophy of Science/Mathematics, Geology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Geology, Origins Science (Cosmology, Evolution (Biological and Chemical), Science Jounalism, Education, and Writing And last but not AT ALL LEAST....MATHEMATICS! MATHEMATICS! MATHEMATICS!There are also many interdisciplinary subjects that blur the lines I have delineated in rigourous science.

I'd like to meet:

People who love and want to learn about science. And of course...'coeditors'. I will WELCOME comments that correct and edify me as an amateur science educator. It the critical integral to a larger development that this page aims to attain.People with blogs, articles and research links and data to be posted and shared. This page is about education FIRST. Educating the public of accepted scientific facts and methods, and those facts that have been discerned using the Scientific Method.Dr. Ken Miller Explains Science vs. Non Science

You Are Pretty Logical
You're a bit of a wizard when it comes to logic
While you don't have perfect logic, you logic is pretty darn good
Keep at it - you've got a lot of natural talent in this area! How Logical Are You?

Books:

You Are An INTP
The Thinker

You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can.
Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge.
Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat.
A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.

In love, you are an easy person to fall for. But not an easy person to stay in love with.
Although you are quite flexible, you often come off as aloof or argumentative.

At work, you are both a logical and creative thinker. You are great at solving problems.
You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.

How you see yourself: Creative, fair, and tough-minded

When other people don't get you, they see you as: arrogant, cold, and robotic What's Your Personality Type? /

Algebra and it’s (dis)contents part 3: inequalities.

Inequalities: How they compare and contrast from explicit equations. 5x-7>4x-7. This statement seems true at the outset. Both have -7 as their y intercepts, 5x is bound to more than 4x and thus the s...
