About Me

Pike is known to his family and friends as a talented singer/songwriter. At a young age Pike started finding an interest in writing,singing and music. Pike made his first vocal recordings on a small microphone that he plugged into his boombox at age five. Pikes father saw young pikes interest in music and bought him a keyboard,a drum pad machine and some sticks. As a child Pike recorded songs using his keyboard and fed his songs with the lyrics he wrote. In 1999 Pike moved to Seattle,WA. In Seattle Pike was persuaded and influenced to buy an electric guitar. Pike then borrowed Nick Nolan guitar lesson videos from the local library. He borrowed the videos over and over again trying to learn the scales and various methods of playing the guitar. Pike also got one on one lessons from a friend named sloppy Joe. Pike continued practicing hard and was determined to play guitar along with his singing and songwriting. At times Pike was unemployed from his 9-5, so he used his time wisely and practiced all the more. Pike recalls sometimes getting up at the crack of dawn practicing throughout the day, continuing on into the darkness, without stopping except for water and restroom breaks. In 2003 Pike moved down to Arizona. Soon after Pike Auditioned for several bands as a singer/songwriter/rythm guitar player. Pikes auditions ended him up in the middle of Nowhere. Pike was now the new frontman for a heavy hard sounding band called Nowhere. Due to too many disagreements Pikes journey with Nowhere ended shortly. Pike departed from Nowhere just before they were scheduled to go down to the studio in Phoenix and recored their first album together. As of right now Pike is currently creating his own original project called Set4th. Pike is seeking some true society dwelling mother fuckers for this project. Scince 2001 Pikes passion for music has been displayed in the songs he wrote for Set4th. For Pike being Set4th gave him a reason for existance. "Hey whats up?" This is Pike. Rock, metal and all it's close genres gives out an energy like no other. Most of you know what I'm talking about. I encourage you all to headbang, throw your fists up , show your devil horns, mosh , stage dive , go wherever the energy takes you and remember YOU keep rock alive.
