Claudia Pastorius (Johnson)[b.1978- ... ]
A native to both Florida and Panama, Claudia's intense curiosity was nurtured by growing up with multi-cultural influences: Panamanian, Chinese, Swedish, & American. While at Eau Gallie High School her scratchboard piece, "Pensive" was chosen for a student show at the Brevard Museum of Art. In 2000, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelors degree in International Studies, art and activism experience, and an award for an independent study in Costa Rica.
Choosing to follow the path of an artist has been a fulfilling and extraordinary experience. She has sold over 100 paintings, largely through the internet and special events. She also works on commission creating her original "Color Energy Portraits" and large abstracts. Her paintings are part of American, European, and Latin American fine art collections. Places her paintings are displayed include physician's lobbies, lawyer's offices, rock star homes, and a meditation center. She is listed in the Florida Artists Registry and belongs to Art4Art women's collective. She enjoys being a mother to an amazing 5 year old who paints too, practicing yoga, reading, writing, and exploring life as a spiritual journey.
