Great Spirit, today, let no words come from my lips that would hurt another.
"A hundred times a day I remind myself
that my inner and outer life depends
on the labors of other men,
living and dead,
and that I must exert myself in order
to give in the measure as I have received
and am still receiving."** Albert Einstein
Well, first and foremost I am a flesh and blood, living, breathing human being -- i.e. a non-corporation, a natural person, an independent and free sovereign. The trick is convincing everyone else of that truth.
In a dream you can do any thing you please...sometimes I confuse the two...
It is my intention to live my life on purpose...to see from the perspective of my soul and to extraordinarily and consciously work with my peers in creating a sustainable future for our planet
Here, I am Ayla...and just so you know, I like smilers, music, spirit and dancing(among other things.) xx
My dream is to mix art, music, ritual dance, theater, video and spirit and use it to raise consciousness and build community...
I choose to push thru my discomfort and dissolve the chains that bind my heart, soul and mind...I like to surround myself with like minded people...I am often quiet...my inner world is filled with amazing creations that spring forth thru my imagination from spirit...my biggest challenge has been in bringing those visions into physical form...
I spent half my life asleep...but now that I've woken up...I've found myself in a world mismatched for who I want to be so I'm setting about creating a new one...care to join me?
I have awakened my awareness on purpose and it is growing...and I don't like to follow rules unless they make sense to me. Just so you know...
when you see thru the eyes of the soul, life becomes a richly sensual experience and an extraordinarily exquisite dream...
Dance, when you're broken up.
Dance, if you've torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance, when you're perfectly free.

In seeking to understand ourselves I imagine that we can peel away at the proverbial onion until in the end we find nothing but source energy...and in doing so, we'll have learned what a silly joke we've been playing on ourselves when we thought we knew who we were...
The pictures I make are a reflection of what I am feeling and seeing from, with and thru my soul. They tell me who they are as they are becoming...
To my friends and all those I love most...SHINE BRIGHTLY!
We are the eyes and ears and living, breathing, consciousness of the universe...I love beauty in all it's incarnations and manifestations...
I'm learning "It's not what you do, it's how you do it."
-James Arthur Ray
Where do you place your intention on a regular, consistent basis?
What is your intention/attention balance?
Your level of energy is more important to your success or failure than your heredity. Do you love what you do? If you don't love what you do, find something else. Find something you love, because life is precious.
Pursue your passion with excellence.
Believe in yourself, your product and your industry. Have an unbending belief in your capabilities.
What we know now from scientific inquiry is that every single thing in our universe is energy. So, as a spiritual being, we are hard-wired to grow; just as Our universe is expanding so must we, figuratively speaking. So many people pine over 'the good old days'. If we think about it, were the good old days really all that good?
Have we stopped to ask ourselves what direction we are going in? I ask myself this daily. If we're not growing, spiritually and intellectually, perhaps we are dying.
We live in a vibrational universe. What appears to be empty space, is now called names such as the zero-point field. The zero-point field is a source of unlimited energy. Everything comes from this field. It's full of unlimited potential. One cubic meter of this field can boil every single ocean on this planet. This is the source of your energy. What does this mean for our everyday lives and for our future individual experiences?
What you bring into your life depends on where your attention resides. Yes, it's a cliche, but I believe it's true that energy flows where attention goes. It's more than coincedence that things generally fall into place when we have a vision that we've followed thru on. Maybe they don't look exactly like we've planned, but we find ourselves in a different place of our own co-creation with something greater than ourselves. I call it the devine, call it what you will. It's merely semantics.
This general tendency toward creating our own reality goes for everyone, no matter what their condition is. The problem for most people, including myself, is that it's quite easy to focus on the unpleasantness of the immediate moment. The real challenge is to imagine what you'd rather have it be like. Focusing on that not only can help you come up with solutions to your problems, but it might also help you remain hopeful in the most difficult of times.
I'm not just talking about wishing it to be true. That has never worked for me. Rather, I mean, imagining that it's possible for things to be different all the while focusing on how that might feel. Then if we take strategic action toward that vision it's not unlikely for the magic to unfold before our very eyes. Sure, some people get absurd and materialistic, but imagine what is possible if we apply these universal rules and principals to meaningful change. Positive thinking just doesn't go far enough and if internally, we resist because we think it's impossible or just plain b.s. then we can end up wasting our energy as well as being greatly dissapointed.
Just for the record, I also don't believe that wallowing in other people's misery or feeling guilty about it is because your life is more comfortable is a useful or fruitful way for us to spend our time and energy. It just doesn't help anyone. For me at least, I'd like to think that bettering myself in all respects is the only way I'll ever be able to help others and make a real and lasting difference in the world.
What are you creating? Is it worthy of you?
There's unlimited potential and possibility in the quantum domain. There's abundance and poverty, joy and pain, vibrant health and vitality and disease. Think of the unlimited potential and possiblity that lies in this energy field. The moment you place your attention on an intention, that particle is created and it comes into form. According to the law of attraction, like attracts like and this particle is created and every other possibility collapses to zero. Once that particle is created that thought begins coming into form. And another particle in residence is attracted to it, and another and another, and boom, you've created something. Everytime you have a thought and emotion attached to that thought, you create a particle. What have you set into motion today?
In the Gnostic gospel Acts of John, even Jesus danced and said to his disciples, "To the Universe belongs the dancer. He who does not dance does not know what happens."
"Dancing is a gesture of the whole body which can ally the body with the soul. It is one of the most powerful forms of spiritual or magical ritual. It is a dynamic tool for awakening and stirring the subtle forces and energies of life. True sacred dance is a means of focusing and directing consciousness through physical behavior. It is an outer expression of the inner spirit."

An Excerpt From "The Wanderer" by Khalil GibranOnce there came to the court of the Prince of Birkasha, a dancer and her musicians. And she was admitted to the court. And she danced to the music of the flute, the lute, and the zither. She danced the dance of flames and fire, and the dance of swords and spears; she danced the dance of stars and the dance of space, and then she danced the dance of flowers in the wind. When she had finished, she approached the prince and bowed her body before him. The prince bade her to come nearer, and said unto her, "Beautiful woman, daughter of grace and delight, whence comes
your art and how is it that you command all the elements in your rythyms and your rhymes?"And the dancer came near and bowed her body again and said, "Gracious majesty, I know not the answer to your questionings. Only this I know:The philosophers soul dwells within his head, the poets soul dwells within his heart, the singers soul dwells about his throat, but the soul of the dancer abides in all her body."
Honor your current incarnation as a spirit having a human experience rather than a human striving for a spiritual experience...(paraphrased from wayne dyer and adapted from the wisdom of Teilhard de Chardin)
Note to self:
Law of Attraction: how life responds to vibrations (your feelings). Perhaps what's most important is how you feel about the words you say.Perhaps it’s not the words you use,
but rather HOW YOU FEEL about the words that you use.
I don't know the big picture, non of us do I suspect...I don't know much of anything really...
If I've ever loved you, I still do and I always will...Love is not something I can turn off with a switch, or take away because it's not returned.

This is a picture that I collaged using several photographs that a friend provided. We were supposed to use the same pictures to make our own collages and then compare them. Generally, I prefer to use all or mostly my own pictures in the collages except in a few occasions like in the pictures of Phil that I post occasionally and in the los vegas sphinx picture that I colorized. Often, however I add in pieces from antique pictures I find along the way too like wings or celtic braids to make wrist bands.

Pure, unadulterated passion...capable and willing to have the same amazing experience more than once with the same person, because, ya know, it's never really the same, ever...in Love, everything is fresh and new, over and over and over again...
In this life, the people who love you and especially the people who you share a mutual love with, are a gift, turn your back on them and you truly have nothing...Sometimes we treat the people we love badly...why is that? It's probably because we think that they'll always love us, that they'll always be there. That may or may not be true, depending on how much of a doormat they are willing to be. -ayla
Since we all create our habitual reality-tunnels, either consciously and intelligently or unconsciously and mechanically, I prefer to create for each hour the happiest, funniest, and most romantic reality-tunnel consistent with the signals my brain apprehends. I feel sorry for people who persistently organize experience into sad, dreary and hopeless reality tunnels, and try to show them how to break the bad habit, but I don't feel any masochistic duty to share their misery.
-Robert Anton Wilson
courage...creativity...passion...ecstasy are my new mantras...
ecstatic becoming is what all creation is...
How would you like to be woken up at dawn by a dozen gentle kisses all over your precious face and a sweet smile that says, I love you?
THROUGH LOVE all that is bitter will sweeten
Through Love all that is copper will be gold.
Through Love all dregs will turn to purest wine
Through Love all pain will turn to medicine.
Through Love the dead will all become alive.
Through Love the king will turn into a slave!-Rumi

STAY CLOSE, MY HEARTStay close, my heart, to the one who knows your ways;
Come into the shade of the tree that always has fresh flowers.
Don't stroll idly through the bazaar of the perfume-markers:
Stay in the shop of the sugar-seller.
If you don't find true balance, anyone can deceive you;
Anyone can trick out of a thing of straw,
And make you take it for gold
Don't squat with a bowl before every boiling pot;
In each pot on the fire you find very different things.
Not all sugarcanes have sugar, not all abysses a peak;
Not all eyes possess vision, not every sea is full of pearls.
O nightingale, with your voice of dark honey! Go on lamenting!
Only your drunken ecstasy can pierce the rock's hard heart!
Surrender yourself, and if you cannot be welcomes by the Friend,
Know that you are rebelling inwardly like a thread
That doesn't want to go through the needle's eye!
The awakened heart is a lamp; protect it by the him of your robe!
Hurry and get out of this wind, for the weather is bad.
And when you've left this storm, you will come to a fountain;
You'll find a Friend there who will always nourish your soul.
And with your soul always green, you'll grow into a tall tree
Flowering always with sweet light-fruit, whose growth is interior.-Rumi(translated by Andrew Harvey)

Meditation of the Week
Kundalini acts like an energetic shower, softly shaking you free of your day and leaving you refreshed and mellow. Some caution is recommended when dealing with kundalini (see: http://www.kundalini-gateway.org/warn.html)
So long as we do not die to ourselves,
and so long as we identify with someone or something,
we shall never be free.
The spiritual way is not for those wrapped up in exterior life.

Intoxicated by the Wine of Love.
From each a mystic silence Love demands.
What do all seek so earnestly? 'Tis Love.
What do they whisper to each other? Love.
Love is the subject of their inmost thoughts.
In Love no longer 'thou' and 'I' exist,
For Self has passed away in the Beloved.
Now will I draw aside the veil from Love,
And in the temple of mine inmost soul,
Behold the Friend; Incomparable Love.
He who would know the secret of both worlds,
Will find the secret of them both, is Love.

Who is man?
The reflection of the Eternal Light.
What is the world?
A wave on the Everlasting Sea.
How could the reflection be cut off from the Light?
How could the wave be separate from the Sea?
Know that this reflection and this wave are that very Light and Sea.

Come,
let's scatter roses and pour wine in the glass;
we'll shatter heaven's roof and lay a new foundation.
If sorrow raises armies to shed the blood of lovers,
I'll join with the wine bearer so we can overthrow them.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Steps to a vital life:
1. Make sure you have enough rejuvenating sleep in complete darkness. Cover your eyes if you have to.
2. Listen to your bodyand eat foods that are alive, that have prana, that have no label as much as possible.
3. Eat all the colors of the rainbow with varied tastes, sweet, sour, pungent, tart, salty and so on.
4. Make sure you keep up on the literature on natural supplements, our food is increasingly depleted and the monotonous.
5. Practice mind/body techniques, like yoga, meditation, tai chi, chi gong, EFT and so on.
6. Keep moving, exercise is the way to vitality. Get lots of fresh air.
7. Avoid toxic relationships and toxic emotions.
8. Be flexible in your attitude to life. Understand that you do not know the big picture.
I’m a holistic health counselor, educator and coach, I use many many tools including, fitness training, hypnosis, coaching, energy balancing work, reiki, quantum touch, EFT, bach flower therapy, integrative energy therapy, nutritional education and counseling, to help people enhance their own lives so that they can live a purposeful and vital life. I’m on my own journey too.

Always recognize the dreamlike qualities of life and reduce attachment and aversion. Practice good-heartedness toward all beings. Be loving and compassionate, no matter what others do to you. What they will do will not matter so much when you see it as a dream. The trick is to have positive intention during the dream. This is the essential point. This is true spirituality.

Promises I have made to myself
Promise 1. I will explore the hidden dimensions of my life. I will take moments of reflection everyday on the big questions such as what do I want, meaning and purpose of my existence, what are my peek experiences, what talents and skills can I share and serve humanity/nature with?
6.
Promise 2. I will see the world in me instead of me in the world. Next time I look at a tree or anything that appears to be outside of me I will see the connection within me.
Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.
Friedrich Nietzsche
German philosopher (1844 - 1900)
Promise 3. I will understand the true meaning of yoga. Yoga literally means union. There are 3 forms of yoga:
a. Stillness meditation yoga
b. True love and relationship yoga
c. Action or Karma yoga, we are channels for a higher purpose, every movement is the devine movement of the infinite being.
ABOUT ME? DOESN'T MATTER...if you know me that's great..if you want to get to know me...send me a note...invite me to read your blogs...send me interesting links to articles and websites of note...introduce me to new music...show me your photography...send me your poetry...write to me about your concerns...your hopes...your dreams...that's what I love about people...
Save the drama for someone else..
Promise 4. I will take measures to begin to understand how the universe and the laws of nature work.
7.
Promise 5. Everyday, I will do at least one unselfish thing.
8.
Promise 6. I will monitor my progress by looking at the world and relationships as a mirror. I will avoid looking outside for solutions. I will ask, what do I need to shift within myself to make a change on the so-called outside.
9.
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Promise 7. I will allow the Universe to look at itself thru me.
10
Promise 8. I will look at my body as light and energy and information. I will begin to understand that I have all the time in the world.
11.
"We have within us the Lamp of the World; and Nature, the genie, is Slave of the Lamp, and must fashion life about us as we fashion it within ourselves. What we are alone has power. We may give up the outward personal struggle and ambition, and if we leave all to the Law all that is rightly ours will be paid. Man becomes truly the Superman when he has this proud consciousness. No matter where he may be, in what seeming obscurity, he is still the King, still master of his fate, and circumstance reels about him or is still as he, in the solitude of his spirit, is mighty or is humble. We are indeed most miserable when we dream we have no power over circumstance, and I account it the highest wisdom to know this of the living universe that there is no destiny in it other than that we make for ourselves."A.E. About skiing...On the slopes you can feel so free, the feeling of exhileration is so very amazing. You breath in the cool, fresh, sweet smelling air. You look down below and all around and all what you see is white, glistening, snow, blue sky, fluffy clouds, majestic mountain peaks in the distance, rolling slopes, tiny specks of people milling about at the bottom, and there you are, just you and this mountain, and you take her, and she is willing, and together, you become one, your mind soars, you heart races... skiing...we feel as if we have wings, or rockets or that we have, perhaps become the wind...whatever it is, i adore this feeling...how about you?

From the spiritual poetry of Hafiz
Now is the Time
now is the time to know
That all that you do is sacred.
Now, why not consider
A lasting truce with yourself and God.
Now is the time to understand
That all your ideas of right and wrong
Were just a child's training wheels
To be laid aside
When you finally live
With veracity
And love.
Hafiz is a divine envoy
Whom the Beloved
Has written a holy message upon.
My dear, please tell me,
Throw sticks at your heart
And God?
What is it in that sweet voice inside
That incites you to fear?
Now is the time for the world to know
That every thought and action is sacred.
This is the time for you to compute the impossibility
That there is anything
But Grace.
Now is the season to know
That everything you do
Is sacred.

When we sacrifice our soul/self for our self-image, then we sacrifice the synchronistic qualities of our soul and the non-local correlation coming from a place where everything is coinciding with everything else, the place where miracles can occur.

moving in you, a joy.
When actions come from another section, the feeling

Because of willfulness
people sit in jail, the trapped bird's wings are tied,

The anger of police is willfulness. You've seen a magistrate

Nowsee the invisible. If you could leave your selfishness, you
would see how you'vebeen torturing your soul.
We are born and live inside black water in a well. How could we know what an open field of sunlight is?

Our souls: live in a place of Synchronicity which is beyond energy, beyond the space/time continuum. Re: quantum mechanics…We know what is in the on, but what lies in the off?

In the off is a non-local quantum mechanical inter-relatedness.21.
We’re all contained in one mind. That activity of that one mind is sychronistic. This is where spontaneous fulfillment of desire takes place.

Qualities of the supra - consciousness:
1. it’s a field of infinite possibilities, we are all a field of infinite possibilities…
2. We know everything when we need to know it and everything we need to know at the soul level.
3. True knowledge is spontaneous right action, spontaneous knowing and we all have the wisdom to do the right thing at the right time thru our intuition which is a form of intelligence. We just need to open the channel to it and be able to tap into it, open ourselves to receiving it’s messages.
4. Our soul’s embrace the wisdom of uncertainty and the mind suffers when it longs for certainty which gives rise to the infinite creativity that we receive from uncertainty.
5. Our souls co-create with God. Soul-thought-feelings-perception-action-biology..
6. We are inseparable from the element and the forces of the universe. When we experience this, all stress disappears. Stress is that which interferes between the visible and the invisible. The perception of the physical and emotional threat. Stress manifests when we lose our soul and sacrifice it for our self-image.

2. What are the obstacles?
3. What do you need to do to overcome those obstacles? Create steps to overcome them.4. Always enjoy the process, the journey, because you never know when it will be cut short, and the gift is in the journey as well as in the what you get in the end.

When you were a kid did you have an imaginary friend? Yes
Is there anything you do regularly that makes you forget what time it is? Yep, workout and my photography work. Both camera and lab work.Do you laugh in some situations more than others? Of course, sometimes it's great to be silly and goof around and other times I have to 'control' it ;) and yeah, there are times when I am serious too. :pTell me everything you can remember about the best meal you had in your life. There's been about 3 or 4 that come to mind and the most notable thing I remember about them was that high feeling of pure luxury and joy and that emotional lift I felt as I closed my eyes and swam around in pleasurable waves of ecstasy. Also the feeling of gratefulness was prevelant."You probably don't remember this but 'no' was one of the most fabulous discoveries of your childhood" – Martha Beck Author of Finding Your Own North Star.
