And again... My wonderful, strong, hardworking, selfless, loving Mother - who has shown me that no matter what cross you are given to bear, you do so with humility and strength and love... as well as, with dignity, grace and class.

I love you, Mom... You are so beautiful; far more beautiful than you know. You and Nana both taught me it is better to give than to receive.
My Nana, Rosa... who cared for my brother and me everyday of her life - fiercely and lovingly - so that my parents could work and provide; Mom sometimes working 2-3 jobs or more. Although, you never said so, we had to have tired you out... yet you never let go or failed us.

Nana, you were the rock we leaned on and the soft place for us to fall when we needed. You taught me that respect is earned, cherished and appreciated and that love is neverending. You believed in me, no matter what... and I will continue to miss you so very much everyday of my life... and yet, I know that you are with me, in my heart - always. I pray that when you look down upon me from Heaven that you see the good woman you always wanted me to be.
