Recipe for Izzie's Cups
INGREDIENTS: (yielding 36 cups)
2 cups heavy cream
10 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, broken into ½-ounce pieces
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons coconut extract
1 ½ cups flour
20 ounces semisweet chocolate, broken into ½-ounce pieces
Instructions:
Set oven to Preheat at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
After warming 2 inches of water over medium in the bottom portion of a double boiler, put the 20 ounces of semisweet chocolate, 4 ounces of unsweetened chocolate, and 2 cups of heavy cream into the top portion. Cover with plastic wrap and let it warm for 8 minutes. Then, remove the boiler from the heat and mix until smooth.
Put the coconut extract, eggs, and granulated sugar into a mixing bowl and stir (or electrically beat) with medium power for about four minutes. Then, add the ingredients from the boiler and stir for 20 more seconds at medium power as well. Next, put the baking soda, chocolate chips, and flour to the mixture and stir on lower power for 10 seconds. Slowly, stir to medium power for another 10 seconds. Afterwards, stir additionally to make sure all the ingredients seem thoroughly mixed.
Pour the mixture into 36 cup baking cups. Allow some room beneath the rim for the cups to rise. Place the cups into the oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes (Test by placing a toothpick into the center of the cup; if it comes out clean, the cups are done). Let the cups cool before eating. And enjoy!

Dr. McObsessed because I just can’t get enough of “Grey’s Anatomyâ€! I’m just crazy about it! =)
2) If you were indeed a doctor, what's your medical specialty? You're walking one day and see Patrick Dempsey heading towards you, what would you say to him?
Trauma because I’d like having so many different cases and patients to always keep my attention. Or maybe a neonatal surgeon like Addison. It’d be pretty cool to bring babies into the world.
If I saw Patrick Dempsey walking toward me, I’d probably slap myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming, then I’d go straight up to him and ask for lots and lots of pictures, and autographs and ask about his soon-to-be-born twins and his racing and what it’s like working on the show. Ya know, basically bother the crap outta him!
3) Now give us some good medical advice.
UH…Never miss Grey’s; missing an episode could cause strokes or heart attacks. Have fun no matter what because life is too short to worry about everybody else!
4) Who do you relate to the most on the show?
Well, I think I’m a little bit like all of the characters. I definitely relate to Callie in being the “girl at the back of the class eating her hair†and Addison because I was a band dork. And Meredith because I can be very whiny and I definitely have a thing for Derek/Patrick! George--because I can’t form coherent sentences when I’m nervous. Izzie--because I’m a very compassionate person. Cristina because… well not really her or Bailey but they are both so funny I’d hope I could be funny like them!
5) Do you still take bathroom breaks during commercials while watching Grey's Anatomy?
Well I have TiVo, and technically I don’t have to worry about missing it, but I still go ahead of time so I can make sure that for that one hour I am glued in front of the tv and I DO NOT move!

7) Who is the funniest character?
They are all hilarious! But Cristina is “charmless†(in the words of Sandra Oh) and that makes her especially funny. I love how she just doesn’t care what anybody thinks!
8) Who has the best lines?
Bailey. Who wouldn’t love yelling at suck-ups? She has the funny lines, and yet it’s her character that has some of the most spell-bounding emotional speeches as well.
9) You think "Grey's Anatomy" is a good title? Could you come up with another name for the show?
Of course it’s a good title! I wouldn’t change one thing about this amazing show. And I agree with Oprah when she said that if had been named “Complicationsâ€, it would have been a little too soap opera-ish.
10) Who would you kick out of the show?
NOBODY! Haha everybody on it has an important part. If you’d asked me this question last year I definitely would have said Addison, but now I LOVE her character despite the fact that I do want Meredith and Derek to be together
11) Who is the hottest person on the show?
SERIOUSLY?! PATRICK DEMPSEY, of course! He is so so so incredibly HOTT. Though, McSteamy (Eric Dane) could sure give him a run for his money.
12) What's your favorite episode?
Just one? Wow. I guess I’d have to say “What Have I Done to Deserve This?†because all those scenes with Addison and the poison oak--PRICELESS. Runner-up would be “Losing My Religion†because of Mer and Der getting back together!
13) What was the funniest scene that made you laugh the most?
Like I said, the ones with Addison and the poison oak were pretty freakin funny, but any scene with Bailey and George cracks me up. Oh and of course Cristina when she’s making fun of Meredith on her date with Finn and she says “Oh you funny vetâ€. I DIED it was so funny!
14) On the songs played on the show, which one's your favorite?
Well I’ve downloaded ALL of them because I LOVE the music, but I liked Kate Havnevik before I was obsessed with the show, so I’ll say “Unlike Me (acapella mix)†by Kate Havnevik. Or I also really like any of the songs by Tegan and Sara and “Don’t Forget Me†by Way Out West. Any of Inara George’s or Snow PatroI’s songs as well. I could go on and on about the great music on Grey’s.
15) Name one thing you MUST have with you when you're watching Grey's Anatomy.
Computer, because me and my friends message each other in commercial breaks to talk about the show before its even over with! And something to drink (so I don’t have to move) and the remote in case I need to pause!
16) Which couple are you rooting for?
the only couple there is… Meredith and Derek! I’ve been a fan of theirs from the start. I’m sorta pulling for Addison and Mark, now, also. Because Mark is hot and Addison did get the short end of the deal with Derek.
17) Which scene made you cry or made you really sad?
When Denny died, and Izzie lost it, I was sobbing hysterically. I had this feeling that he was going to die, but I wanted him and Izzie to be happy. Also when Burke got shot I was bawling like a baby. Grey’s is an emotional roller coaster!
18) What is your favorite line/quote from the show?
Again, only one? I could use an older one like “So we’re kissing but we’re not dating? Don’t get me wrong I like the kissing, I’m all for the kissing, more kissing I say†by Derek. But I’ll probably use a new one from this season like “You had a dream about the BOTH of them? Threesome? Nice. Just when I think you’re boring… you RISE!†–Cristina to Meredith. So so so funny!

I talk about Grey’s Anatomy so much that I even got my boyfriend addicted to it. And all of my friends are addicted also because I HAVE to discuss it as soon as its over. I blog about every episode the next day to get more comments and talk about it some more. I constantly check the internet for spoilers and videos on youtube.com. I’m always downloading interviews with the cast. I make fanvids about Grey’s Anatomy because I’m THAT big of a dork (and if you’d like to view those videos, they’re posted on my page =) ). I know ridiculous trivia about the cast members (Like did you know that Patrick Dempsey tried out for the role of Dr. Robert Chase on House, M.D.?). At Blockbuster, where I work, Grey’s is on my employee favorites shelf for all to see. I have like a jillion Grey’s background’s for my computer. And, I mean just look at my myspace page to know what a complete fan I am!
20) Compose a short poem/haiku about Grey's Anatomy. (We know this is silly. But this is supposed to be fun!)
Well since I’m REALLY bad at coming up with poetry, I’ll use some good ones that I found elsewhere (if these are yours, sorry I didn’t know who wrote them, but they’re great!)
