Burma is in peril today and has been since 1962. Thousands of Burmese monks, students and democracy activist have been marching strong in a peaceful protest again the dictatorship government for the last week. This is the government that has taken away all human rights from the people of Burma since 1962. Burmese people have been suffering from poverty, hunger, oppression, brutal dictatorship, rape, HIV and AIDS amongst other serious issues for the last 45 years!! The holy monks are taking action, standing strong for the people of Burma to bring awareness and attention to the ongoing sufferings that has claimed thousands and thousands of lives. Today, this peaceful protest has turned into a brutal and violent killing spree by the Burmese military government. The Burmese government is reporting 5 people dead but the real number of people they have killed since yesterday is well over 30-plus according to the truthful underground news coming out of Burma. Most of these killings have been of the peaceful and innocent monks. The government has ordered the soldiers to beat and kill the protesters including the holy monks. There are underground pictures coming out of Burma showing the monks badly beaten by the butts of the soldier’s rifles. Last night the military raided number of monasteries and have killed, arrested and beaten the innocent monks. Today the protesting monks are no where to been found or seen, this is a very alarming development. The only person that can bring peace to my country is a Nobel Peace Prize winner and HERO Aung San Suu Kyi, the rightfully elected democracy leader whom is under house arrest with invalid charges for the last 20 years. The Burmese people need your help now more then ever. The Burmese people need your support. The Burmese people need your VOICE. Please contact your local senate, congress and in addition please write an email to [email protected], The United Nations’ Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, urging to coordinate a strong response to the situation in Burma and to help free Aung San Suu Kyi and the people of Burma. The peaceful and kind Burmese people fate is in your hands.HELPFUL LINKS: Support the Monks' protest in Burma http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=24957770200 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SIGN ALL the Petitions for a FREE BURMA!http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=12247880500 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BURMA-WATCH http://www.burma-watch.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BURMA NET http://www.burmanet.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ U.S. CAMPAIGN FOR BURMA http://www.uscampaignforburma.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BURMA CAMPAIGN UK http://www.burmacampaign.org.uk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ KO HTIKE BLOG http://www.ko-htike.blogspot.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DEMOCRATIC VOICE FOR BURMA http://www.dvb.no ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BURMESE AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE http://www.badasf.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MIZZIMA NEWS http://www.mizzima.com..
