About Me

love layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments
HotFreeLayouts I am a trusting soul born w/ a few superb talents still being uncovered every year, just like you!! I see beauty in the Romantics like Shelley & Keats in the 1820's and I SEE love & peace like John Lennon and Joni Mitchell and James Taylor do; ROCK AND BLUES AND FOLK music are all Equal in my ears; with the eyes of THE farsighted & THE mystic EDGAR CAYCE AND C.S.LEWIS and the pen of Bobby Dylan, the backbeat of after-Holly groups and WHEN the Mersey Beat THAT WAS formed IN LIVERPOOL to NYC to Detroit to LA to Sydney. My hometown of Tulsa had a wheel in the mess when Leon Russell and J.J.Cale left Tulsa for California in 1961, later bringing Clapton and George Harrison "Back to Tulsa". The Moody Blues, the WHO, the Rolling Stones, the Zombies, the Doors, Donovan and Cat Stevens influenced me then; What about Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley's DAD, one of my all-time favorites. Musicians such AS: Shawn Phillips and Jesse Colin Young and all kinds of Southern BOOGIE (Lynyrd Skynyrd & the Allman Bros.)!! Let's not forget Jazz, mostly stuff over my head, like Classical, but I love Coltrane and Yes and Al Cooper and Satchmo and Spyro Gyro and numerous others. Now it's still the same, ONLY DIFFERENT! folks like Alanis Morisette and John Mayer and even Garth Brooks and DAMIEN RICE AND EVEN JOANNA NEWSOME! As long you can feel a storyline and rhythm that makes those buttcheeks hop, ROCK WILL CONTINUE TO EVOLVE! When I was a young man (19 to 24) I visited a total of 22 countries on 3 continents in 3 years of travels that shaped me because I was able to meet & get to know hundreds of different kinds of people & musicians like the Incredible String Band and yet, I've still just scratched the surface! I found my way of finding a closer way to God when I discovered Unity Church with there liberal, non-judgemental attitude (more like Jesus and Gandhi and Buddha rolled into ONE) So Open your Hearts, my new friends, here's a shout-out to all of you!! (Oh, and learn to spell, people!) Most of all, I relate to life thru My Music; when I play and sing, LIFE IS GOOD! And GOOD GOD, ain't that good to hear! OF COURSE YOU KNOW THE OPPOSITE OF DEJA-VU, DON'T YOU? IT'S VU-JA Day, WHICH MEANS "I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE"!!

My Interests

Quartz Crystals hold a certain unknown passion for me and me for their innate energy! So, I had a store in Tulsa during the Harmonic Convergence in 1987. We called it : Mr. BB's Crystal World Emporium.....After a year my investors fired me 'cause I kept giving away points (little 1/2 inch beauties) we found in, or on the ground as we camped out near Hurricane Grove & Mt Ida, AR. (30 mi. West of Hot Springs). I sold some specimens for $300, too, that weighed 50 bs. Best in the world, except for maybe Brazil. Quartz is also sold by miners to Sony, Yamaha, RCA, Motorola and other big corporations in order to make the signal in a radio, a receiver, a microwave, etc. more focused. This a principle of physics called the piezo electric effect. Somehow the signal is focused by the crystal! But then, you have to put up w/ that cool jazz that pulls you in......that funky, almost mesmerizing rhythm, ya know. It's terribly cool!!! Also, I have plants in pots, lots of 'em. For the last 10 years, I usually have 40-50 plants, some of 'em flowering. But I have just bought and set up an awesome 10' X 12' greenhouse! If you have plants, it helps you to slow down and "Be Here Now". They're a lot easier to take care of than an animal and they're pretty quiet most of the time. So they never bother me when I'm playin' my music, they enhance it!! Atomic Wedgie - Secret Girlfriend 3 Mandy - Potency Stew

I'd like to meet:

Musicians w/ a LOVE FOR melody and for harmony! And People that love different rhythms and have an open mind! If I could play music with a few choice, inspiring Seekers who have a pure, raw & crisp sound and feel like the song is KING, then I would be in heaven. Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Richie Havens, Donovan, Carole King and legends that have died like Jimi, Janis and Jim & James Brown gave me a lot to work on. But Peter, Paul & Mary and Willis Alan Ramsey (a little-known Austin, TX Troubadour still touring as are many of the ones above) were even closer to my style then. To me their charisma made the song more poignant and fascinating. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&am p;videoid=16486221 Atomic Wedgie - Secret Girlfriend 3 Mandy - Pillow (14 of 20)

Music:

I guess my earliest influences were Buddy Holly, the Everly Bros, Ricky Nelson, Sam Cooke, Wilson Pickett, Elvis. I loved early Elvis, before the Army and the Colonel & Las Vegas got to him. AL GREENE AND VAN MORRISON BLEW ME AWAY WITH the WAY THEY COULD SING! But I was always in choirs, sometimes three at a time, so, for me, my voice became the driving instrument. The guitars keep me rolling and in tune! Guess that's why doing karoke just feels wrong!I've owned a few, never had more than 3 at a time. Acoustic and Classical! Lately that's meant a Taylor 6 & 12 string...and a Genz Benz Shenandoah amp...Until I came in off the street or the back porch, I never used a mic. That's all changed NOW! I do love singing thru a mic nowadays!!! Now I have several uses for a microphone; sometimes it's under my pillow! No Kidding! In fact I have a guitar for sale in the paper--it's an Ibanez hollow-bodied electric. Beautiful purplish maple solid wood! $1000 this month! The last 10 years I have been unplugged which means plugged in acoustic/electrics. Dylan came along with Donovan as we all found ourselves enthralled by the Beatles! The Who & the Stones & the Kinks are in my repertoire along with Elton, and esp. Cat Stevens. A few rare ones like J.J. Cale, Tim Buckley, Jesse Colin Young, Willis Alan Ramsey & John Prine certainly were inspiring me all the time. Joni Mitchell and the boys (CSN&Y) held my attention along with Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, & the Eagles!By then It was 1972 and I was back from 3 of the last 5 years in Europe.... What an enriching experience that was. I met some of the /////World's Finest Hippies!!!! Jimi and Van had turned me into a constellation of different kinds of music; that beauty transformed my soul.......I remember thinking Neil Diamond's "I am, I said " because it was pop, was beneath me! That's when my little bit of C & W training brought me back to Reality. I Still love Hank, Sr.

Movies:

I loved the Dude! You know who I mean! I enjoy watching IFC & Sundance for unusual movies mostly, even those from overseas! Bladerunner (1981) and Bell, Book & Candle (1956) and Bonnie & Clyde (1968)and Love With the Proper Stranger (1963) and Vivre pour Vive (1967) and To Catch a Mockingbird (1962) and all three James Dean films, of course! Chocolate (1998) and the recent Gore documentary about global-warming, An Unpleasant Hallacost, or something like that. Sometimes I lose my facts, leaving only the velvet thoughts holding forth as if an old acid-trip has boiled over inside my brain/mind syndicate! Gottit??? Television:

Just for good movies (IFC & Sundance), some news and sports like Soccer and snowskiing and rodeo! By the way, there is no such thing as a "Fair & Balanced" Newscast. The worst offender, of course, is FOX News!! Who do they think they are Kidding!? We can all see and hear the right-wing party line! Oh, yes, Comedy Central is a real fav! John Stuart is a HOOT. I'll betcha he voted on Nov. 7th!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWXHu7IqW7Y&eurl= Atomic Wedgie - Secret Girlfriend 3 Mandy - Tummy Talk

Heroes:

My two Sons who have gone thru a lot and turned out very well, thank you! I am very proud of Aaron (30) who is an Oil & Gas landman here in Oklahoma. He's making too much bread to quit and go back to University right now. I am very proud of Cassidy (23) who has run a Braums (dairy store) in Tulsa and wants to be an actor, but recently moved to Portland, OR to see what life can be without Momma around everyday! Looking for employment in Portland in the rain is not a lot of fun, but he is beginning with a place that needs him more than he needs them: a home for the elderly. He is an actor and had 6 leads in 2 years w/ the Nightingales in Tulsa. They are both intelligent, are well-loved by their friends & lovers & both are single. Jack, I meant to send you the attached list so you could forward it to the Atoka ofc. I brought 20 folders with me so that I can work from the house with this icy weather coming. Here are the main things on my agenda:Since VP, Dan W. did not call Friday, I will call about the 60 acres Equitable Royalty owns (3-6N-10E) on Monday. Robt and Dan Waring. $1500/nma, 3yrs & 3/16Also the Williams family has 200 acres (4-7N-12E) of which 8 of 10 siblings had depth clauses. One was never leased. Panther has drilled 3 Hartshorne wells this year, i.e. we can lease 20 nma under new shallow production and 160 nma of deep rights only.I expect the Univ. Texas lease this week which you need to sign and return with a check and their signature.(40nma at $1000/nma w/ 3 yrs. and 3/16) under a depth cl. although UT shows no production from the 2nd Gilcrease (13-7N-10E) in the 2 old Bob Loftis wells. Matt is just finishing the title and it looks like all 120 of the SW/4 is open.Due diligence is almost exhausted on the Fixico heirs (4-7N-11E) with all but 4 found and leases in transition right now. Because that would mean a force-pooling of 1 restricted and 3 unrestricted Creek Indians, Dennis and I have tried in every way to find them. Reference to the same section, I finally got a copy of the Aff/Ownership from the Ralph A. Johnston Foundation from Hughes Co. last Thursday. That changes the DTO a bit. Stephen Hill, title attorney, must have missed it. It refers back to a recorded deed from his sister (Willie Johnston in Arkansas) in 1955 which had no description. Bill should be satisfied now and able to pay for the Ralph A. Johnston Foundation lease. Also, the Meadors, Farmer's Royalty( Mungle), Cook, Triangle, DGB, Proctor Trust, Seigle trust and Hacienda Energy negotiations continue and the Long & Leeman leases should arrive. You guys be real careful Recently, Aaron found the love of his life: Loren who is from Arkansas. They are engaged and I am thrilled! They were both born Taurus, May 1 & May 20, so they can be rather stubborn, which can be a good thing! Aaron's a Dragon, Caz is a Pig like me. Because of me they know about divorce, for their Moms were my only 2 wives. Having been divorced 19 years, I feel more single than divorced. I thank God every day, for their lives enrich mine! They both sing and play guitar. Aaron also can play piano & sax excellently. Caz can sing harmony w/out the melody (try that sometime) and the upright bass fiddle. These are my heroes!!My heroine is a certain young lady trying to get a career and a dream to commence in the tough world of Entertainment, namely Hollywood. Kristen Karvouni as you can see in my Top 24 is beautiful, but even more, she has been blessed with loads of acting and singing talent. I admire her strength and spunk and bravery. To score will not be easy. But Kristen deserves a chance and each time she will surprise and amaze those with the power to hire. Timing and the right project have to be part of the planned strategy, yet I believe her talents will pull her through. Little setbacks are just that: Little! A little prayer from each one of you is all I ask! Just wait! Kristen Karvouni is my heroine! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfhJRGeYDRo&eurl=Chris Isaak Wicked Game Music Videos And Lyrics On Demand Atomic Wedgie - Secret Girlfriend 3 Mandy - Collage (11 of 20)
