Wendy started playing in dinner theatre musicals at the mere age of 6, in a play called "South Pacific"with the actor Jan Rubes... she continued on in the theatre for the next few years until singing in a live band suited her style at the age of 13. After graduating from high school, Wendy decided she needed a bigger city to fufill her musical needs and took a bus from Thunder Bay, to Winnipeg and immediately signed on with local band Stranger. After Stranger came a series of cover bands, AngelHeart, Just for fun, Wild Orchid, Wild Angels, Girl Interupted and a BoogieKnights band called Lip Service. She also recorded originals with Tim Thorney in Toronto and Chris Burke-Gaffney in Winnipeg. She was then hired to join a local band "The Shivers" to play in a three month stint in Dubai UAE. Upon return she auditioned for the locally popular Ron Paley Big Band and has been playing with him ever since. Wendy sheer love of the stage is very apparent as she seems to feel every song be it original or cover and take it as her very own. Her styles range from powering out a Janis Joplin tune to Jazz, add in some Stevie Nicks and a a power Country ballad and you have a balance of all musical taste....She has recently taken on the art of Italian Opera and currently is learning musical theory.
