The Metamorphisis of the Artist we call Abyss started out in the Comedy Clubs working his way up to the Tour scene. The Poetry arena wasn't really defined when he debuted to the listeners in Jacksonville, FL, but he was determined to put stretchmarks on this genre called spoken word poetry. So he workd on his craft dilligently self taught musician and scribe and countless hours of community service (Jail, Schools, Churches, Clubs, Coffee Shops). 11yrs fast forward has appeared on Russell Simmons HBO Def Poetry The Original Series Season 1 and Season 5,BET J Lyric Cafe, 1st Poet to appear on 106th and Park, He has written a song with (Prince's Bass Player) Rhonda Smith, 12th Annual Gospel Choice Awards, Numerous NACA college perfomances, Homecomings for Universities, Festivals, Black History Month Programs Peabody Award Winner for the 1st Season of HBO Def Poetry, Published Author Nike Jordan Brand and The Bandana Republic, Trumpeteer, Guitarist, Activist, Motivational Speaker, Songwriter, Actor, Voiceover and the list goes on. He's an Artist truely in tune with perseverence and hard work. Served 7 yrs on the Board of The Atlanta Community Foodbank. Not a stranger to the stage he has a nickname "The Native" becuase he can fit in wherever he is His mission is to educate and entertain simultaneaously.
