A native of Columbus, Georgia, Spenecia has finally found peace. Being born into a family of all boys she creatively released her tension through writing and fighting. Since fighting often landed her places where she didnt want to classify as home at the age of 18 she began taking her craft seriously by investing within herself. By the time she hit the age of 20 she had copywritten several pieces of poetry recieving high merits from her peers as well as high expectations. For some reason her stage fright kept her from live performances until Feb 2008; however since that fateful month in 2008 SPENECIA has been truely blessed. GOD has provided her along a path that she now continues to follow and ONLY with the GRACE of HIS guidance has she continued to succeed. Within three months SPENECIA has touched the hearts of many ATLiens with the reality that her poetry speaks of. As she continues to mature so will her work as well as her future audience. All she truely wishes is that people will hear her words and THINK!!!! Really THINK. This is only the beginning; SPENECIA has soo much to offer to this spoken word community giving it a sense of realness that we all need to hear and feel; she is grateful to be accepted as a true artist amongst soo many other artist who truely inspire her.
