About Me

The Punchline Comedy Club is, needless to say, a comedy club. It's been in existence since 1982 and has seen many changes in the Atlanta comedy scene, not the least of which is the opening and closing of many other comedy clubs.

The Punchline is, by far, the best first date in Atlanta. It is the best place to take your parents when they're visiting from out of town. It is the best place to take your co-workers when you've finally landed that client or have finished that project. It is the best place to go to laugh like you've not laughed in a while. It is the best place to go to see the best comedians working comedy club stages.

You should also know that I am not the biggest comedy club in the world, in fact, I have less than 300 seats. Those seats are fairly close together, and it's why you are laughing so hard, because, you see, physical proximity=laughter.

My Interests

The Punchline is interested in the ridiculous and sublime. We are interested in where the boundries are and then stepping over. We are interested in taking you to the place you did not think you could go and get away with it. We are interested in comedy in all of its' many shapes, forms, and executions.
