OndreaNicole Lewis of Jackson sings on Saturday during the Farish Street Heritage Festival in downtown Jackson. The 30th annual festival featured a variety of music, food, vendors and fun.
THIS IS MY FINAL PERFORMANCE AT THE SOUTHERN STARZ COMPETITION. I WAS ELIMINATED THE PREVIOUS WEEK BUT I HAD TO COME BACK ONE MORE TIME TO DO MY THANG. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTED ME. I LOVE YOU ALL!
HERE IS "I'M GOIN' DOWN" ONDREANICOLE STYLE.
As one of the contestants of the Southern Starz Entertainment Vocal Competition for the Spring 2008 Season, OndreaNicole experienced a major change in her life. For 13 weeks she performed on the stage at Hal & Mal's and with each week she grew and developed....not only musically and performance wise, but emotionally too. "This competition truly Changed My Life. The end of this competition marks the beginning of a new life for me. I have proven to myself that I can do this and this is what I want to do with my life." is what OndreaNicole told friends and family at the conclusion of this experience.

L oving the fact that you haven't got a clue
E ventually you'll find out when I do what I do
First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to find out a little about me. My name is OndreaNicole.....but you can call me Ondrea. I am an unmarried (but involved) mother of 4 beautiful children. I am a singer, a songwriter, a poet and I also play the piano.
I began singing at a very early age....(as I guess most singers do). I began seriously writing songs and poetry back in '89/'90. I began writing music in '02. Since that time....I've been writing, and playing and constantly trying to strengthen my skills and grow within my craft.....I had a couple of "Dry" years....but I feel that within' this past year things have really turned around for me. I have been more inspired than I can ever remember being....which is a good thing.
I also teach piano and voice....I've been doing so since August of '06 .... so if you're in the Jackson, MS area and you're interested in beginner piano or voice lessons...please feel free to drop me a note and we can set something up.
The JAIA Productions Family has a new addition. Victor of The GOLD Agency has recently joined forces with JAIA Productions and has stepped in as my Music/Modeling Manager. Well, known in California and surrounding areas Victor has already proven to be an asset to my career. I can only imagine the opportunities that lie ahead of me in this new endeavor.
But don't worry...those of you who have come to know my previous manager, Nathan Cantrell , he is still at the top of the totem pole. Nathan and I have been really good friends for several years and when I approached him about joining me on my journey with JAIA Productions, he was all for it. I believe that it is important to have good people on your side and he is definitely one of the best. He has now stepped into the place of marketing and promotions and I know that he will definitely continue to hold me down in those areas.
I'd like to mention a few more very important people that are on my side.....You're lucky if you find just 1....and I have found quite a bit more. But anyway, just to name a few, MR. SERV-ON was one of the first to give me an opportunity to share my writing and music on a larger scale...for that I am eternally greatful. MR. STEVE EDWARDS of CuffLinks 71 in Jackson, MS has also been quite instrumental in putting me in front of many to perform my music, giving me a local arena to showcase my art. A few other supporters have been G-MONEY OFF DA CHAIN ENTERTAINMENT and of course My Boy CAMMO THE CONTRACK KILLER of WARZONE ENTERTAINMENT On the close friends and family side I've got my sister, KAYKAY a singer, actress, model and animal lover, My BEST friend and Gospel Recording Artist CHIRVONA and there are so many more that I could name. I just want to thank all of you for the constant love and support that you have provided throughout our various relationships. I truly appreciate all of you.
