Lhamea, pronounced Lam-me-ah is (Greek for Great White Shark) 19-year-old unsigned multi-talented singer, songwriter producer, performer and campaigner. Her ethnic background is mixed with West Indian,English White, Indian, African and Scottish. She has a remarkable vocal range of 3.5 octaves, which she demonstrates in her eclectic music, which is combined with blends of R&B, Pop, Classical, Reggae, Rap and many more. Lhamea can sing all different genres ranging from Opera to R&B showing that she can adapt to any vocal and musical challenges that may come her way. She has an ear for sound, which is a rare gift, and she can also play the drums and sing at the same time. Lhamea is no stranger to live radio interviews, (Radio 1, Radio Five Live and BBC WM. ) TV, (Stars in Their Eyes performing as Ms. Dynamite) media, (ITV Lunchtime News, Sky News (World Wide) and Five News to name but a few. She has also worked in top recording studios and worked with professionals; on a professional level (Overtones Studio's and John Henry's, London.) When writing songs Lhamea takes inspirations from all different types of music and artists combining them into her own unique style. When producing music she will start from scratch with the simplest melody and chord structure right up to creating her own backing vocals, harmonies and performing it to a live audience. She has over 20 awards to her name - her music in years 2003 & 2004 won the Make It, Break It Award for the young songwriters competition sponsored by Yamaha and held at LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) Where judges Sir Paul McCartney and Chris Martin of Coldplay and other top experts of the music industry judge high quality music made by young people. She also received the Channel 4's Creative Class Award for her own creative and diverse advanced perception of music and was the only youngest person to receive that award. She is widely making a name for herself through education as her lyrics and music relate to so many of all ages, industry and critically acclaimed technological innovations and businesses. Lhamea is determined to achieve her aspirations to be a multi platinum selling recording artist right up to breaking the American music industry Which do, British artists rarely achieve?
