..Troy Lewis was born on march 11 1988, and raised in Toronto, Ontario to Robin Gordon and Wendy Ann Lewis. Raised primarily by his Family. Troy started his journey by taking performing classes and later discovered his ability to dance and rap, and continued to do so for months to come. Troy’s musical influences are Usher, James brown, Ll cool j, jimmy Hendrix, Tupac, and many more which helped him create a unique style with his soft toned rapping voice. (Troy also had the opportunity to perform with the greatest entertainer alive, James Brown back in 2004).As early as junior high school, Troy began entering in local talent shows and won most of them because of his unique performing style .As a pre-teen, Troy joined a Performance group by the name of Nu Limit but later departed because of personal reason’s and felt that he would be better off solo.During all that complication with his group and whether or not to go solo or not troy family was going through some rough times. he was taken away from his mother and father and put into foster care. that was one of the worst thing that had ever happened to him and it certainly took a toll on him not for the better but for the worst. He was headed down hill and didn’t care about life anymore because he felt like he had lost everything. It took years and months for him to find himself and deal with what had happened to him .finally he Had had found an outlet and it was through writing songs and making music. So everyday he would just sit in his basement and make songs and beats on his computer.He still wasn’t sure whether or not the world was ready for his type of music and stayed away from the music scene for years. Until some of his friends heard his music and really liked it and told him he should really get out there. he wasn’t so sure but one day he finally got the courage to put his music on myspace and got some really positive feed backs and that really made him feel like people wanted to hear what he had to say. He then began recording in professional studio and been doing so ever since and is now waiting his big break in the entertainment industry.
