Monsters, Magic, and the Muse is a blog that serves a number of purposes.
First, it's a fun way to provide writing prompts to other writers that might be going through a period of writer’s block or those who just want a little something to get their creative juices flowing. Second, I post some random stuff that interests me. This could be anything from one of my expeditions to supposedly haunted places to my thoughts on writing and everything in between and outside. Finally, I plan to throw in a little blatant self-promotion. Whenever I have a book, story, article, magazine, etc., coming out, I plan on posting about it.

"Confession of a Righteous Serial Killer" is one of my older short stories, and it was originally published in the magazine Black Petals many years ago. This electronic version, available for a mere 41 pennies, is what I call a Remastered Edition, revised and updated for a new generation. Be advised: this story is for mature readers only.

I'd like to meet:

GHOSTS, PHANTOMS, AND THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT! As many of you know, I'm currently working on a nonfiction book called 'San Diego Ghosts,' for Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. I am now seeking some more true stories about paranormal encounters in the San Diego area. You can remain anonymous, or your name can appear in the book. The choice is yours.

Even if you don't have a San Diego encounter, I'd still like to hear from you. I am always looking for more true paranormal stories to include in future books. I'm looking for accounts of Bigfoot, UFOs, ghosts...you name it! If it's paranormal, I want to hear about it!

I'd also like to meet any writers, musicians, artists, and people with open minds.
