Monsters, Magic, and the Muse is a blog that serves a number of purposes.
First, it's a fun way to provide writing prompts to other writers that might be going through a period of writer’s block or those who just want a little something to get their creative juices flowing. Second, I post some random stuff that interests me. This could be anything from one of my expeditions to supposedly haunted places to my thoughts on writing and everything in between and outside. Finally, I plan to throw in a little blatant self-promotion. Whenever I have a book, story, article, magazine, etc., coming out, I plan on posting about it.

"Confession of a Righteous Serial Killer" is one of my older short stories, and it was originally published in the magazine Black Petals many years ago. This electronic version, available for a mere 41 pennies, is what I call a
