SCORCHA (Robert Williams) was raised in the small farming community in the hills outside of Kingston, Jamaica. His love of music and his deep voice led him to follow the call of performing as a DJ artist from an early age. Writing and performing his own tunes he quickly became a local favorite. He migrated to the states as a teenager to continue his writing/ performing career as a DJ artist in the DC area. After many years of performing throughout the States he returned to his roots in Jamaica. Now, a well-seasoned artist, he resides in his rural Jamaican blue mountain community birthplace and continues to delight both young and old with his high energy talent and emotionally deep routed lyrics. His tunes can be heard internationally on stations all over the world including the BBC with major support coming from both pirate and internet radio stations.SCORCHA has recently completed a track "COMPLAIN" for German artist FENIN soon to be released on the Shitkatapult indie label.
