Ras Muzik Productions was established by Firebones in 2001 through the
inspiration of H.I.M Emperor Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen (Jah
Rastafari)Firebones has been in the music business for many years. As a youth he
was around sounds like ‘Jah Life’ ‘Young Lion’ and Moa Ambassa’. Ras Muzik
productions evolved from his experiences and has consistantly promoted
positive roots and culture. Ras Muzik will not glorify or give any credence to the dancehall slackness and gunman tunes so prevalent in
society
today’“We have all kinds of muzik but we chose to promote the conscious side of
the reggae muzik that we may elevate the peopleâ€.Firebones has appeared on several community radio stations, Cruise fm, The
Beat fm and most recently Roots fm. Currently you can listen to Firebones
on Sound Radio 1503am/mw.He has interviewed many guests on his programme. These include a wide
selection of reggae artists: Winston Reedy, Junior Reid, Horace Andy and
Julian Marley to name but a few.He attempts to bring issues to his listening audiences that are poignant and
informative. Firebones has introduced his audience to African health
practioners that offer alternative natural medicinal products.Firebones can be very direct in his approach to issues, particularly those
affecting his community. He is prepared to be quite vocal and appreciates
