Cool people like me. The requirements of being cool are sense of humour, love of music and positive attitude.

Air Supply! I missed my chance in August!
Someday I would like to meet Jesus...not in the I'm dead and he's welcoming me...but in the "Hey I know this great guy and I think that you would really hit it off, can I give him your number?" Yes a blind date with Jesus would be nice! Cause I'd love to see the look on the face of my high school religion teacher who said I am going to hell, if we were out on a date and we ran into him and I told him I was dating Jesus and he might need to rethink who's going to hell now? HAHAHA yes I'm sick!
Do I put bands or types of music? Are there rules in this darn place??? Well the music I like is as follows: Aimee Mann, Ani Difranco, Ben Folds Five, Cake, Dave Matthews, Elliot Smith, Fall Out Boy, Fiona Apple, Foo FIghters, Goldfinger, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Missy Elliot, My Chemical Romance, My Morining Jacket, Nada Surf, NoFX, Ok Go, Peaches, Pinhead Gunpowder, Radiohead, Rancid, Reel Big Fish, Richard Cheese, Spoon, Sublime, Tenatious D, The New Pornographers, The Shins, The Weakerthans, The White Stripes, Weezer, Wilco, Wolf Parade....that's all I can think of for now I'm sure I will add more later...I'm always looking to discover new stuff.
Hmmm movies I like movies my favorite movie of all time is Waiting For Guffman and if this is yours too then we will be good friends. I love all the Christopher Guest movies, Spinal Tap, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind. I also like anything with Billy Murray including What About Bob? Because he is pure genius. I'm not a movie snob and I tend to like pretty much anything but I'm partial to comedy and I have to say that if you have not seen the special Showgirls box set with commentary on you are missing out on the "most misunderstood comedy of all time" I also would reccoment Punchline, yeah its a cheezy 80's Tom Hanks movie but its a really cool movie about stand up...which I love. The best stand up movie ever The Aristocrats not only because I'm partial to racey blue humour ok ok I like it dirty, but also because there are so many great performances in it. Check it out!
Again I like the funny The Daily Show, The Office (British), Da Ali G Show, Drawn Together, The Chapelle Show, Old Saturday Night Live, Arrested Development, Mr. Show, Family Guy...that's all I can think of right now I don't watch much TV but that's what I watch. Ohhhh and when I do have cable I watch Fridays without borders on Showcase you dirty birds do too!!
I do like to read when I get a chance...a great book is "Please Kill Me: The History of Punk Rock" it is very cool. I also loved America by John Stewart and the Daily Show people, his book of essays Naked Pictures of Famous People is really good too. Of course you have to read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but that's just a given. My favorite book growing up was The Giver by Lois Lowery a very strange book about a socity where roles are given to people check it out. My dirty little secret...I'm a magazine whore all the girly magazines, Blender and sigh this is so embarrassing I have an addiction to US Weekly yes stars are just like us!
I wouldn't necessarly say these are my "Heros" per say more like stand up comics that I love: Mitch Hedberg, Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho, Mitch Fatel, Doug Stanhope, Steve Martin, Dave Attell, Phyllis Diller, Wendy Leibman, David Cross, Judah Friedlander, my grandpa...so many more will continue to add. Bert and Ernie!
