Stephen Quadros earned a promising reputation as a drummer on the Los Angeles rock scene in the 1970s with bands like Orange (with lead vocalist Patrik Mata), Pod and Snow (which included Carlos Cavazo on lead guitar and Tony Cavazo on bass). Snow released a five-song EP in 1980 (Dynamic Records) that is quite a sought after item now for metal collectors.
While the drummer for Snow, Stephen entered into Carmine Appice's 1st Annual Drumoff, which resulted in him being spotted by Gene Simmons and flown to New York to audition for KISS.
Mr. Quadros later became the percussive force behind the rockin' power pop trio Dangerface, with Gar Robertson and Tony Cavazo. Dangerface released a four-song EP (Sexual Records) in 1983.
Stephen also played with the progressive punk/art trio Joe Blow, which included
Tom "Beefbone" Bolema and Nick Thompkins. Quadros recorded the singles "To Russia With Love" and "A Hardship" with yet another collaboration with Bolema, The Butchers.
Quadros's spectrum was further widened by his association with The Marcus Singletary Band . Marcus and Stephen's mutual versatility and hellbent sense of improvisation were very much in evidence at their gigs around town, including their opening set at The Whiskey A Go Go for CTA (California Transit Authority), featuring the original drummer for Chicago, Danny Seraphine.
Stephen's career soon extended into acting , with TV appearances on CSI: Miami, Without A Trace, Numb3rs, Walker: Texas Ranger, Columbo and film roles in Cradle 2 The Grave, Demon Wind and Shock 'Em Dead.
Because he is a longtime practitioner, teacher and journalist in the world of martial arts, Quadros was soon working as a fight choreographer (Cradle 2 The Grave, Pit Fighter) and expert commentator for televised mixed martial arts events such as ShoXC, EliteXC, Pride Fighting Championships and Cage Rage (UK).
Quadros's most recent musical adventures include being the drummer for Whipped Cream , the nation's best Cream tribute band, and 7th Sun , the fast rising blues rock, jam band. Both groups include Mr. Quadros on drums, JT Curtis on guitar and vocals and Adam Kury on bass and vocals. 7th Sun includes Mike Russeck on organ and vocals.
7th Sun just finished their first album, "From The Beginning" and it will be available soon!

QUADROS IN CONCERT IN YONKERS, NY - UPDATE!
Drummer Stephen Quadros performed live at the second "FrainaPalooza" all day benefit concert for Autism, on Saturday, June 21st in Yonkers, NY.
"Performing alongside Mike Pinera (Blues Image, Iron Butterfly), Mark Stein & Vinnie Martel (Vanilla Fudge), Albert Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult), Tony Cavazo (Snow, Quiet Riot) and Dennis Dunaway (Alice Cooper) was fantastic. Albert and I had a drum battle in "Godzilla" that was off the hook.
I MC'd the last half of the show, which was loads of fun. The event is in post production and will be released soon."
