I LOVE my photography, rarely do i go anywhere without my camera... music, travelling, nature , walking in the mountains or down by the water (Beach, river, lake), animals, volunteering. Driving my Jeep in the sun with the top off, or driving through the mud with the top on. Keeping in touch with with old friends.(most of mine I've had for 25+years.) And volunteering at my daughters school. I believe it's very important to know who your children are hanging out with.
I'd say Elton John would be 1. I would have loved to met Freddy Mercury. I met all the other guys from Queen. The funiest was meeting Roger Taylor at our local burger joint on Sunset Blvd. Carney's. He was picking up a couple burgers. Man he was HOTTT! LOL!
Here's a kinda wierd performance by one of my fave bands "Flies on Fire" 1987. It's OK if you laugh!

OK, i've got wierd taste in music...It depends on what mood i'm in. I can listen to most music, Classical, R&B, alt., hard rock, soft rock, indie. Just don't give me C-rap, rave or ANYTHING by an American Idol contestant! YUK!
I've just replaced my "Queen- Night at the Opera" CD. I had forgotten just how amazing that band was! I was soo lucky to see them perform live as many times as i did! Freddy RIP...And Here's another band I couldn't get enough of, and fortunately got to see live, dozens of times. The Babys...Every Time I think of You...
The Shawshank Redemption (All time fave!),Amadeus , That Thing You Do! The Gods Must Be Crazy{ Parts 1 & 2}(rent these if you ever need a good laugh!), Valley Girl-(great soundtrack,)National Treasure, Rocky Horror Picture Show , Born in East L.A.(I think you had to have lived in L.A to really laugh at this one,) The Notebook (talk about a tear- jerker). And ... March of the Penguins. Not interested in Sci-Fi AT ALL! And Harry Potter...no thanks. And I forgot, Steel Magnolias. (it's how I got my nickname, 'Weeza'...) And anything starring Dakota Fanning! Just saw another fave of mine today. Faling Down, with Michael Douglas. I know it's supposed to be serious...but it makes me laugh every time I see it! I also forgot "Shirley Valentine" I know exactly how that woman felt! Wish I had the guts to do what she did! Someday.... Seeing it on TV tonight remonds me of how much I loved 'Seabiscuit'! We need more movies like that. Got to add a couple more...The Pursuit of Happyness. GREAT movie! And Happy Feet. How can you not want to get up and dance through that one? LOL! I start tapping, every time Mumble does! I love to tap dance!
Any of the Law and Order series, Amazing Race, LOST, CSI can't really get into the 'Miami' series though. Most anything on the Home and Garden network, and the Travel Channel. Don't even bring up American Idol with me...It should be called American Karaoke! That's all it is. For me to take notice, i need musicians/songwriters. In other words ARTISTS!
To me a "Hero" is someone who gives of themselves to help someone in need, without expecting anything in return.
