I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorVery cool guy with lots to offer in the way of friendship, music and other good stuff. I'm a lifelong musician and I love almost every style of music that exists. Nothing gives me the feeling of purpose quite like making music. It's definitely the reason I am here. It makes the world a more beautiful and expressive place. I have toured many places around the world playing rock an roll. I have the premier Zappa cover band on the planet, Bogus Pomp. We are the real deal. I have a wonderful son who is 17 and he kicks serious ass on the drums too!! I am involved with two great organizations, Sherdog.com and World Cage Fighters(WCF) and have high hopes for the future with both of them.

My Interests

Being happy. Laughing. Making music. Cooking and eating. Listening to music. Making friends and having meaningful relationships with all kinds of people on all kinds of different levels. Spending time with my son when he is in town. Jamming and making music with my son. Traveling. Martial arts. MMA is the greatest sport on the planet. I'm such a huge fan!! I follow the game very closely and I really like all the fighters out there. In my opinion, it's the most exciting sport played today. I also collect fine guitars and nauga monsters.

I'd like to meet:

Other musicians, cool people and hopeful friends.

Music:

All styles. Extreme to laid back. Sometimes I like old school metal and sometimes even older school jazz or bluegrass. I can appreciate all styles from electronic to acoustic, from rap to country. Being a musician for so long helps me to appreciate more styles of music but also makes me kind of a musical snob too. It's all good. I was in a few really great bands in the past, like Messiax, Blackkout, Jon Oliva, D'YEA and the infamous Genitorturers. I wrote and recorded on the very groundbreaking and pioneering release "120 days of Genitorture" on IRS/Shock Therapy records. I've toured the USA and europe many times. Some of my main music/guitar influences are...... Frank Marino, Frank Zappa, Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Michael Schenker, Ritchie Blackmore, Uli Roth, Randy Rhodes, Tony Iommi, Ted Nugent, Glenn and KK, Eddie VanHalen, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Allan Holdsworth, Tony MacAlpine, Joe Satriani, Shawn Lane, Buckethead, Rossington~Collins~Gains, Eric Johnson, Jimmy Herring and countless others too numerous to name. Also, I'm in three really great bands at the moment. ***Bogus Pomp - it's my band and I'm damn proud of it because it's great. www.boguspomp.com ***Devin Carmicle - I play in Dev's band and he is an incredible singer, songwriter, guitarist. His songs are awesome!! He and I are a terrifying guitar team too!!!Neo-Trio - A killer trio that does experimental improv as well as rock/fusion.*** I am endorsed by EMG pickups and MORLEY electronics!!!*** I also do music for my favorite martial arts website of all time, SHERDOG.COM!!!! Those guys are great and they put my music with killer clips such as "Knockout of the week" and "Submission of the week"as well as the SAVAGE DOG SHOW and all the cool videos you can see on SHERDOG.COM!!!! It's worldwide, baby!!! I also do all the music for a killer new fighting organization called World Cage Fighting (WCF) and it's taking off in a big way!!*** I also do music for two fishing shows on cable TV called Addictive Fishing and FLW. It's shown nationwide and on the sunshine network in florida.

Movies:

Love 'em!!! I love comedies and adventure. Sometimes scary but only if well done. Totally depends on my mood.

Television:

sometimes,....UFC or PRIDE FC. Most times I just want to kill my TV.

Books:

Lots.... any are better than TV.

Heroes:

My parents, J.C., Steve Outlaw, Unknown Hinson, everyone in Bogus Pomp, Frank Zappa, Kacy Ross, Wanderlei Silva, Randy Couture, Shawn Lane.... this list could go on forever.....
