GUITARIST 4 TERRAFERMA

I first starting kickin around on the guitar when I was 7 years old . I would get metal shards stuck in my fingers from the old rotted strings. So I was like fuck it .. so I would jump around w/ it jamming out to KISS Alive II and the KISS Double Platinum albums . When I was 13 that’s when I got serious , I took more interest in my brothers Univox guitar than he did . The rest is history . I took lessons from local guitar hero Bruce Wacker just to learn Led Zeppelin songs. By now I was heavy into BLACK SABBATH and VAN HALEN whiskey and POT . Then I discovered JUDAS PRIEST - Hell Bent For Leather tape and I was floored . After listening to the song Delivering The Goods I was done with pussy bands that were on the radio and MTV . After living in NYC again for many years I found myself in New Jersey again damn it . I jammed with many people but nothing worked out . I joined a Hard Core band way down in south Jersey called INCARCERATED, we open shows for some big names in the Hard Core movement. But I later quit over band drama . This was around the time I got turned on to bands like DEATH, DEICIDE and OBITUARY . Because of the influence of these bands I wound up playing in 2 death metal bands the second one I played bass . By the end of 93' I jammed with some people that later turned into a band that changed its bass players and band names like underwear . Eventually singers . We went under the name SKELETON KREW, GRINDAGE and other names just to play shows , didn't matter who was on bass . At this time I started playing bass with a southern rock outfit call D.T. MENACE. With the Drummer of our band S.K. I took off to Florida. We through together a band that had by far had the most talent amongst us and we called it F.I.S.T. ( Sebastian Bach later wanted to call his made up MTV show band F.I.S.T. . He probably got that idea because rumor has it he was sent a Demo tape for when I wanted to audition for his real band ) which in one local mag review " these guys get as heavy as PANTERA ". From there I played bass in A female fronted band called CRANK . Through lies and bullshit that band broke up . I was the only guitarist in WICKED X . With WICKED X we decided to play covers of 80' metal . Bands like WASP, L.A. GUNS. RATT, a shit load of MOTLEY CRUE. This band would go through bass players and drummers like water. We wound up being the house band on Thursday nites at one of Tampa Bay’s premier clubs. Towards the end I was jamming at a Baptist Church. But as fate would have it I got a call from long time collaborator/drummer from S.K./F.I.S.T. that his signed band ( CIRCLE OF MERCY ) needed a guitarist up in Jersey and if I could do it . Fuck Yeah! So off I went. We did some Trax money was spent , but the C.D. was never released . Back in Tampa Bay I found myself jamming a few jams with legendary Death Metal pioneers NASTY SAVAGE. Then I found myself playing guitar for one of the heaviest band in Tampa Bay called SOCIETYS END. We got the chance to open shows for most of the national bands that came through town. Most memorable was a packed house of 1600 people for CANNIBAL CORPSE. In the beginning we were being booed but by the 3rd song we won the crowd over and had almost everyone’s hands in the air cheering us on. By now the music scene or lack of, local and nationwide started to get me down and frustrated so I called it quits to everything. I wound back up in a couple of Christian churchs playing guitar. The feeling was right but life changes. I've jammed with a few peeps nothin stuck so here I am doing it all for who will listen. So here it is my version of VH1 WHERE ARE THEY KNOW? And here I am wasting away in Margaretville. Come and get me, I'm right here! I am currently wrecking necks in my new metal band TERRAFERMA THANX FOR STOPPING BY ...
