Musician working (and Playing) in Liverpool

About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Kaya could not understand the basic concept of MySpace, and signed up twice. See...she's the sort of person who buys things from IKEA (too often in fact) and try to put it together before reading the instructions. So when she realized that she couldn't upload songs she went on and made a new account. You can find out more info by looking at that page: http://www.myspace.com/kayaherstad or simply see her own website www.kaya.no

Spoilt for choice you are....

My Interests

Live and breathe music (so much it annoys my friends, family and loved ones i guess...)

Used to be big into sports, still play football and do aerobics/pilates + go to dance classes weekly but wish I had an ice hockey rink close to Liverpool, but the closest is Iceland...
Also like spending time with close wine and good friends (should that be the other way around?)
Travel is an interest I wish I had more money to spend on, and I love going back to see my family and friends in Norway :o)

I'd like to meet:

People who like my music and vice versa (Hey, that don't work...) And other people. I like people. Sometimes...Please send me a message if you're addingme as a friend, because it's not like my band-page where I "harvest" friends, so I want to "meet you" first if you don't already know me :o)

Music:

Anything that rocks my world:
If it's got good lyrics and a strong melody then I'm in! But used to be a pure grunge girl... and Pearl Jam, Live, Nirvana, Skunk Anansie still favourites with Counting Crows, Cat Stevens, Jewel, Damien Rice, Nina Simone, Alanis Morissette and I quite like the new album from Incubus...

Movies:

Yeah. I like them! Men in tights especially...

Television:

Hardly ever get time to watch the box, and haven't been following any shows since Friends ended (and haven't really followed that either the last 3 years.) Oh well...

Books:

Harry Potter rules. I know. Sad or not, but you got to try it!

I like Astrid Lingren's stuff and Roald Dahl too. Might be a kid at heart...

Seriously, I like well written books with a good original story. And there are many of them. Don't get enough time, but love a good read!

Heroes:

batman, superman, nelson mandela, che guevara, mr incredible, sister Theresa, .... I'm sure I've forgotten some!
