103.7 The Mountain

I am here for Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

While 1905 was an integral year in the development of radio, we didn't quite exist yet...103.7 The Mountain was actually born eighty-six years later on April 10th, 1991 at 2pm, when we hit the airwaves with Rock Me On the Water by Jackson Browne.
The years that followed have been filled with hard work, dedication and countless Mountain Music Lounges. These private and extremely awesome acoustic performances have featured everyone from Tears for Fears and Dave Matthews and The Indigo Girls to Amos Lee, The John Butler Trio, Tori Amos, Carbon Leaf, Elvis Costello, Pete Yorn, Ray LaMontagne, Kim Richey and...and...well, perhaps I should just say that we like live music here at The Mountain.
The environment and it's protection ranks pretty high with us as well...and as a result, we're extremely involved with The Wilderness Society. All proceeds from our annual compilation of live tracks recorded in the Mountain Music Lounge go directly to The Wilderness Society - with the release of Live from The Mountain Music Lounge, Volume 12 last fall, we finally broke the $1 million mark with our donations!
We're also nurturing a growing and therefore not-so-secret love for comedy, with daily bits from the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Mike Birbiglia, Mitch Hedberg, Ellen DeGeneres, Kathleen Madigan, Eddie Izzard, and Jon Stewart on the 5:20 Funny. Marty Riemer, one of our beloved DJs, is the go-to guy for comedy (mainly because he's so easy to make fun of).
