Guitar MySpace LayoutsJumpin Josh is a true bluesman (at the age of 9) with talent and natural ability beyond his years. He has had the privilege of taking guitar lessons from Nicole Fournier, an award winning guitarist, singer and songwriter. To see his progress in the last year only makes you wonder what lies ahead for this true blues spirit.He has been fortunate enough to play with greats such as Nicole Fournier, Randy Oxford, Billy Stoops, Ian Crawford, Ms. Peaches, Rod Cook, and Malcolm Clark, Nick Nicholas, Chester Dennis Jones, as well as many other local talents. His venues range from blues festivals such as Rock Cut, Mt. Baker, and Suncadia, to the Spar Tavern, Johnny's Doc, and the Rhapsody in Bloom coffee house. His first stage experience was at Jazzbones in Tacoma where he now appears regularly at Randy Oxford's Wed. Night Blues Theater, an all ages jam.The Weekly Volcano said "Jumping Josh, 9, entertained the Weekly Volcano Music Awards crowd last night with two Eric Clapton classics — "Bell Bottom Blues" and "Tears in Heaven."
