About Me

G-Ro as his friends call him, grew up listening to everything from The Beatles to Motown, but the sound track for his life since young has been funk & R&B. Greg likes to croon and sing in a smooth falsetto while at the same time changing it up and getting down and dirty by adding edge and grit to his voice.Greg also has been studying voice over the course of the last year with Emily McIntosh and credits her for helping him becoming a stronger, more disciplined and versitle singer within the last year. G-Ro's biggest vocal influences are Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, Van Morrison, James Brown, Joe Cocker, Philip Bailey, Elton John and Darryl Hall.Greg completed a stint in 2006 with the locally renowned Sonic Funk Orchestra and recently sang lead and backing vocals to an off Broadway rock opera entitled “Ruins.” He is currently finishing post-production on an EP titled “The Black Door” to be completed in the fall of 2007. Greg wrote all of the songs, sang all of the vocal parts, and produced every phase of the project.Myspace Graphics
