Elijah Grindstaff

Hey this is Elijah, I’m from Washington and have been playing music on the West coast for the past few years. My music is an acoustic R&B/Pop mix with soulful sound and lyrics. It’s stripped down realness powers the songs and is led with a soothing vocal style. My music stands strong outside boundaries. It gets your mind thinking and your body moving. (I’ve been known to bust out the ‘robot.’)

In 2006 I recorded a 7 song acoustic CD and played a West coast tour. I then lived and played music in Northern Ireland for just under a year. Currently I am back in the Northwest playing music full time and recording a 4 song EP. I expect the CD to be out autumn 2007.

I have a passion for challenging the way we do things, and I like to make people think about the world around us. When I’m not playing music you can find me somewhere outdoors in nature or in the cold waters of Washington (with a thick wet suit on) catching a wave.
