About Me

This is the place where I suppose I should try to sing and dance and do a little commercial for myself. How do we define ourselves in a few short paragraphs that we are not sure anybody will actually read anyway.
I’m sure my personality was shaped by the fact that my mother was a professional artist and my father was a motion picture producer. How many other kids learned to edit film before they could ride a bike?
I’m a good drummer who decided that I didn’t want to be on the road as much as necessary to make a living playing music. I have an undergraduate degree in electronic music and went most of the way through a graduate program in instructional technology. I worked my way through undergraduate school by working construction.
In May 2007 I graduated from law school and now I’m a lawyer working in construction claims and contract disputes.
My wife Ailene and I currently live in a tiny little condo in Redwood City – about 30 minutes south of San Francisco.
I collect wine, toys, books, ties, and musical instruments. I think having spent so much time working in industries in which I had no duty to wear a suit and tie, I learned to love them instead of hating them like most of my friends. I also think it may be a respect for more formal times that my father instilled in me as a child.
