Cheyenne
Vocals/Lead Guitar
Cheyenne comes from a musical background. His father was a well-known singer/songwriter who passed away when Cheyenne was 9. At age 16, Cheyenne picked up a guitar, listened and learned from the radio, and immediately began writing and creating, following in his father's footsteps. At age 18, Cheyenne had a one-man show in a small bar in Springfield, VA. Soon realizing that performing by himself wasn't enough, he started the Backstreet Rhythm Band, and learned how to jam with other people. He then learned the business and professionalism side by joining The Dreamers, and working with various talent agencies, promotion companies, the Hyatt Regency Corporation for 3 years, and various marathons and television appearances. He then went back to his roots, playing in several different rock, and rhythm and blues bands, performing throughout the years in the Top 40 venues almost every weekend, while at the same time, writing and arranging behind the scenes.

Kevin
Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
Since the age of 7, Kevin has had a passion for music. By the time he was 13, Kevin had taught himself how to play the drums, acquiring a background in Rock, Blues, and Country. Through middle and high school, Kevin jammed with family and friends, furthing his abilities as a drummer. After graduating high school, Kevin joined his first band Amulet, which only lasted about a year, and played only one gig. Over the next 5 years, Kevin performed with Last Chance. In 1997 Kevin met Cheyenne when he was playing with Silverado and was hired for the drummer position. They have performed together ever since. In the Fall of 2007, Kevin felt he needed a change. He had been learning how to play the guitar and asked to change to rhythm guitarist, and the rest is history.

Krys
Vocals/Keyboard/Saxophone
A classically trained musician, Krys began singing and playing clarinet at the age of six and then added various other traditional instruments to her repertoire. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, where she focused in saxophone. In addition to Swamp Dogs, she teaches music at a local elementary school, and is pianist for the Southern Maryland Swing Band, the music director for the Three Notch Theater, and the bandleader and main composer and arranger for “Fractal Folk” (www.fractalfolk.com).

Dave
Bass Guitar
Dave has been playing a variety of instruments for over 30 years. Heavily influenced by Southern Rock, Country, and Bluegrass, Dave plays bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and harmonica.

Since 1997, Dave has been focusing mainly on the bass. He has played with the Country/Rock bands The Riverdog Band, Cactus Creek, and the high-energy Classic Rock band Reset.

Ed
Drums
Ed got his first drum set at age 14. At 16 he met a drummer who studied under Gene Krupa, which carved in stone his enthusiasm for playing drums. His biggest musical influences were Zeppelin, Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Fleetwood Mac, Travis Tritt, and Montgomery Gentry. He enjoys the creativity and challange of writing original music.
