Band Members: Darla Hawn (Drummer)
Darla and I have been playing together since she was 16 years old. She is such a natural talent, and over the years has become the MVP in San Diego. With most musicians who are good, you also get a good dosage of ego, but Darla brings a down to earth, humorous spirt to any group.
Taco a.k.a. Tyler Carroll (Bass Player)
Taco is a small ball of big energy on any stage. He has the most amazing facial responses to the groove he is laying down. He has been such a joy to play with over the last few years. He is leaving for college this year and we will miss him more than he knows.

A new thought or concept is what gravitates me to pick up the guitar and start singing. I have to have something to sing about before i sing any melody. Aside from song writing, producers strongly influence my sound.
The artist writes a song and lets say it's like a mouthwatering steak. The producer is the one who puts in the spices, and decides how long it should be cooked as well as what sides would bring the best out of the steak. So here is a small list of a few of my hero producers:
Jon Brion
Nigel Godrich
Sr. George Martin
Rich Costey
Ethan Johns
Tony Hoffer
When I was in first grade me and my mother attended a gospel church. The music there was just oozing with soul. Thats where i believe my ear for soulful music began. Then later in Jr High i was surrounded by a bunch of rockers who played guitar. I believe that's when l lost a % of my hearing due to weekly concerts. As you can see my influences land in both Rock and Soul.
a few favorite ALBUMS:
The Beatles (abbey road)
Beck (the information)
Bright Eyes (digital ash in a digital urn)
