About Me

NEWS!
Lena Bundy and a soul band will be performing at Vino Bella in Issaquah this year.
Return for updates on when and at what time!

I was born in Sweden, as Lena Sandberg, in the city of Vasteraas about an hour drive west of Stockholm. Most of my childhood, I spent singing, reading books and practicing violin. I attended a renowned school of music and as a young teenager, I toured Europe for choir competitions. Mainly Italy, Great Britain and Scandinavia.
In Stockholm, I studied jazz and contemporary styles. I got hired to be the lead singer at a hotel on the Island of Rhodes and after Greece I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. There, I was fortunate to be hired as a backup singer on TV, tours and studio productions. My friend Susanne played a huge part in getting me into this business, and we were successful as a duo.
After attending a workshop with the legendary Mark Murphy, who loved one of my songs, I turned to songwriting and formed a group, Soon baby Soon, with Susanne.
Since moving to Seattle in 2004, I have performed at most major events, such as The Bite of Seattle, Pike Place Market, Out to Lunch Concert series, The Space Needle to mention a few...Satisfied clients include Microsoft, The Westin Hotel, The Sheraton, The Royal Argosy cruise and the list goes on...
I'm preparing to go into the studio to record an album. The music is a mix of jazz, soul and Swedish spirit.
I have performed at weddings taken place on Sun Mountain, The Hollywood schoolhouse, The Sorrento Hotel etc... Email me for a quote if you're interested in music for Your Wedding. [email protected]
