About Me

I am known to be quiet and shy- but that only lasts so long, and I'm also a very happy person- despite the sad headlines, and despite the off chance that I might be wearing all black when it's so beautiful out- it's really just to keep warm. I also like to listen to NPR- but mainly the non news related programs such as Car Talk, Fresh Air, A Prairie Home Companion and This American Life. My favorite color is blue, my favorite month is October and my favorite flowers are poppies (preferably red oriental poppies, but I'm not picky) and irises and the list could go on. Oh, I would like to learn how to play mahjong. It would be a dream of mine to design a store front window, and to travel through Europe before I am thirty. There's a lot more, but all will be revealed in time...Of course, if you can't wait that long, just ask...

My Interests

Writing- poetry and stories, sewing, baking,reading-while listening to classical music, walking around antique stores, gardening, and making mix tapes/cds. Coffee and green tea.
