Born in Houston, Texas, Teresa has spent the past few years living in Los Angeles, where she and her band, The Rhythm Tramps, have been creating the sound that you hear on her CDs. She has performed live with such legendary artists as Levon Helm, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Raitt, Lee Roy Parnell, Delbert McClinton, Kirk Whalum, Paul DeLay, Jeffrey Osborne, Asleep At The Wheel among others. Her voice is featured on albums by Kirk Whalum, Stephen Bruton, Glen Clark, Randy Newman and blues artists Corey Stevens and Walter Trout. She even did a duet with Mickey Mouse on the Disney album, "Mickey's Comedy for Kids". Andie McDowell hired Teresa to coach her for her singing debut in the movie, "Michael", singing the song that she and her husband, Terry Wilson, wrote.
TESTIMONIALS:
"...It was as if her voice reached down deep inside me and ministered to me. People ask me in interviews all the time about that girl who sang "When The Night Rolls In" and "Drowning In The Sea Of Love". This is definitely a chapter in my life I rewind often ...working with with someone like Teresa James, who has influenced me and affected me so profoundly..."
