About Me

Robin met two-time Grammy Nominee Frankie Fuchs on the set of “Aint Got No Home,” a PBS Special highlighting Woody Guthrie's life. Portraying Lefty Lou on the "American Masters” series, Robin gained great insight and appreciation for Woody's music. Woody's publisher granted Frankie permission to record an undiscovered song of Woody's, "Hot Rod Money." They soon began performing and revamping numerous Woody Guthrie songs, as well as developing their own original material together, culminating in Robin's debut album. After fronting Super Dream Pill and Third Language, Robin signed a deal with Sony and moved from Austin to NYC, where she developed relationship's and worked with some of the top musician's and producers in the business. Represented by George Stein (Jeff Buckley's Manager), she became a highly sought vocalist, arranger and writer. She fronted Gary Lucas/Jeff Buckley's band, “Gods & Monsters,” and opened for Jerry Garcia's, “Ratdog,” and KD Lang.In LA, Robin has worked and collaborated with Frankie Fuchs, Ted Kamp (Shooter Jennings Band), George Clinton's Production Company, The Middle Class, Scott Detweiller, VAVV Records and many others. Utilizing all of her talents, Robin has numerous National Jingles and Voice-Overs to her name and has appeared as an actress on "Jimmel Kimmel Live," "Sarah Silverman," and "Ghost Whispers.""Ms. Wiley is today's alternate-Janis Joplin. She has rasp & soul, using it while she branches out to more mainstream music … Born in Texas she inspired audiences with her sultry and southern-rock sound getting recognized by numerous industry people …" Keep your eye on Ms. Wiley …” ~Fretless Management-NYC
