I am from Boston Mass. Moving to Los Angeles was a dream of mine from an early age on. The recording studios there were top notch and I wanted to record in them. Also to learn from the best engineers and eventually become one. I knew that's where records were made and where record companies lived. My life has been influenced from music and artist's performances that really excited me. Reading album covers front to back was a favorite thing to do as I listened to record after record. It was like studying them. After audio school I landed a job at Fleetwood Recording studio in Revere Mass. Of course the first two months were free of pay. I taught myself how to edit tape of recorded voiceovers and became useful. 3 years went by quickly. I moved to another studio call Sound Design In Burlington mass. for another two. Vinny Vincent came to record there and that record was to be finished in LA. There you go that was my ticket to bail. Joe Chiccarelli who earlier in his career worked at Fleetwood was influential in helping me in LA. I did landed a job at SoundCastle Studio in LA. for two more years. Then A&M studio's was being renovated inside & out. I meet Sheely Yakus and became a staff engineer for three years. That was like hitting the lottery, I loved that studio and still do. It was the place to be. It was the best studio in town and quite demanding too. That is where I learned how to make records. It was the final training ground to go independent. I am still at it and enjoying the ride. Rock On!!!
